Not bad value for money.
Managed to get a 'hot deal' tee this morning for £13, which wasn't bad value for money. The course layout is good with some tough little par 3's and some challenging 4s. However i was disappointed with the condition of the course. The fairway grass was quite long, none of the bunkers seemed to have been raked for weeks, and the greens were particularly poor, with the ball bobbling all over the place. A shame really as it let the course down. Good value for money if you want a cheap round, but nothing more.
Course was in average condition with very little sand in the bunkers.Easy to get around.Greens had been hollowtined.

A Hidden Gem!
This Links course is well worth a visit! Just £18 on a Sunday. Weather was very favourable.... not a breath of wind and clear blue skies. Greens were in amazing condition after a week of rain and no temporary's!! (actually quite fast) It was brilliantly laid out and very easy to get from green to tee box on every hole. Lovely scenery, wildlife and Lydd airport close by. I would highly recommend this course. There is a lot of lakes on the course so club selection is critical! The only let down was the chef had finished serving food at 3pm on a Sunday.
I found the course to be in good condition & with the strong wet winds this made it quite challenging. There were some really good holes that were really enjoyable to play. The £10 weekend offer was excellent value!
The driving range was good. The staff in the clubhouse & pro shop were not the friendliest & was disappointed that the bar closed early on a bank holiday weekend, so we couldn't grab a pint after our round.
Good Course to play
Good course to play with water left and right almost everywhere. Greens are fairly fast but a bit mossy, they may well suffer damage in the coming months. Pro very friendly and helpful, bar staff good too.
Great value Great course
Have played here on and off over the last few years. Great test of golf for all standards. Course always seems in good nick. Staff always friendly. Would recommend to anyone.
Good test
First time playing this course and was attracted by the good offer on price and tee time. This is a good test and the layout in windy conditions certainly caused both my playing partner and I some difficulties at times. Looking forward to returning with some experience and giving it another go.
