Manston Golf Club

The course layout is very unimagnative - basically up and down with two across. Made more challenging on day due to a very stong wind which meant holes were eiether behind or into a head wind. A good course for beginners (you will struggle to lose any balls).

The Clientele, I came across don't know the rules of golf, or just Ignorant, the 2 ball walking across my shot, at least 3 times, not a pleases or thank you, just looked at me with Contempt, the 3 ball in front of me, parking there buggy in the wrong place than walking off, and slow play, well, I didn't finish my round.

disappointed no air guns, no way to clean out a trolley and shoes from muddy fields.

The course has been very slow on my last four visits would be nice if the club house staff staggered the tee times instead of just letting players just roll up and tee off this is a biggest bug bear 😡😡😡

Mildly annoyed by greenkeepers watering greens in middle of the day. No excuse in the summer but didn't really disrupt play too much. Doesn't always happen.

Nice 9 hole course, Very flat and accessible . Can play 18 holes for 12 quid through GolfNow. Absolute bargain.

Nice course with friendly staff. A little overpriced in my opinion compared to other places. Only real criticism is there was nobody controlling incredibly slow pace and with people not willing to let better/faster players through it became very frustrating.

Booked a "cart included" price, to be told that the cart would not be included and if I wanted one, then it would be an additional £20 for the round. Just pay the walking price

Stuck behind a group of 4, with a pair behind them who were “there together”. Had to wait at least 10 minutes (most times more) at every tee box. Took 3 hours to play 9 holes.

No sign of any course marshal. The last hole is incredibly dangerous to hit a driver. Amateur players with big slices can easily reach the car park, I witnessed a couple of shots go there myself. The cafe is lovely however and refreshments are reasonably priced

I love this course because they truly walk the inclusive walk and it is a course I started playing with my son when he was about 10. We would play alternate shots on each ball. The practice facilities are very accessible. The course itself is ideal for weak players like us. We really like the sixth hole which we feel is well designed and hard!! There is also such a clear sense that they are trying hard to make small improvements all the time.

Food was good pro shop had what I needed

And golf was super easy nice flat course with width great for building confidence. Let’s say if it was on my door step I play it 3 times a week .
