Hidden Gem
Hidden gem of a course. Played on a Wednesday afternoon as a single and made it round in under 2h 30min.
Good variety of shapes of holes requiring you to move ball both ways.
The little par3 11th is breathtaking and worth the green fee alone.
Mossock return.
Played mossock when it first opened, held my father’s memorial competition there for 3 years, enjoy playing there and it’s good to see how it’s maturing into a great little knock.
Fantastic
First time playing this course and won’t be the last. Staff were great. Ground conditions great. All round good day
Great Day at Mossock
First time we’ve played the course and it was really enjoyable. Course was in excellent condition from tee to green and the pro shop and clubhouse facilities were excellent ( we were a little disappointed that there was no food available after 5pm but that’s a minor gripe). The course layout appears a little cramped on the tee on some holes but this feeling disappears after your first shot as the holes open out or a dogleg reveals a part of the course not visible from the tee. A great day out at a great course and one we will be returning to soon
Very good course
I've played quite a few courses now around the merseyside area, and this is by far the best one i've played so far. The course is in all round great condition, however the greens were particularly good.
Great challenge going course. Well maintained.
Great course where you have to position that ball to avoid fairway bunkers. Greens hold the ball uo well and roll true Great speed and consistency on all the greens. Recommend playing this course.
Beautiful course
Superb course, challenging and fun. Excellent fairways and greens. Flat course with only a couples of small hills. Looking forward to playing again.
Such a lovely and friendly course
This was my first time playing Mossock Hall and I will definitely be returning. The staff and members are very friendly and the course is in great condition. The pace of play was quite slow but this was due to the time we booked with many older members playing their weekend rounds in front. The course has great drainage and was a thoroughly enjoyable place to play.
Slow play four ball in front would not let me throw very despondent
Excellent
Super course great layout tight in places but fair 9th hole is beautiful greens were the best I've played soft and respective but quick when putting can't fault it in anyway 10/10
Nice but tricky
Very nice course in really good condition with some really good holes. Dog legs seem to be the thing here, so need to place t shots carefully as trees and water come into play. Greens all ran true and consistent but a good bit slower than the putting green.
Only negative was the severe rough around/under the trees, no need to be that heavy, you’ll do well if you can find your ball.
Par 3 11th is a nice hole but most definitely a card wrecker if you run over the back of the green.
Booking in was no problem, the Pro was very helpful and informative.
We were on a tight schedule so didn’t get a chance to check out the clubhouse or bar.
Would recommend it and would like to play again.
