Poor Conditions
Played this course for the first time and was very disappointed..the tees and mainly greens were awful..upset I payed to play a course in this condition to be honest
Great Value for money
For the price of a round (£10) this is great value for money. The course may not be in the best of conditions compared to many golf club owned courses but for this price you cannot complain. An enjoyable Saturday afternoon golf with my 20 yr old grandson who had just started his golfing journey. We will be back.
Not playable
The only positive was it was only £10
All the green condition were an absolute disgrace for a Golf academy, no grass, moss all over and rabbit holes everywhere
The 9th hole is a once in a lifetime time shot to hit the green with hanging trees both sides and a pond before the green
Avoid this course at all cost
Exciting par 3 s
Overall value for money, nice layout. Testing par 3s, fairways in nice order. Tee boxes and greens not in the best of condition. I thought that with this course being in the midst of the college that green keepers attend. The greens would be in better order. We enjoyed our round.
Great, low cost course
Can’t complain really. Paid 9 quid each for 18 holes.
Could of the greens need a bit of work but otherwise it’s a great course, nice features and friendly staff and members
Disgraceful
Absolute disgrace. Shouldn't advertise as a 'golf course'. Knee deep in mud. Shocking "greens". Take up knitting instead
Ok for a bit of practice.
It's cheap so if you're wanting a bit of practice and it's close by it may be worth it, but it's so badly waterlogged all year round it can be quite a chore.
No staff or facilities really apart from the occasional person you'll see at the sports hall.
Myerscough 9 hole course
A pleasant and forgiving course, with mostly wide fairways which were in good condition. Greens were somewhat variable though, with poor surfaces in places.
The biggest issue was finding the course as there is no signage for the booking office or the course itself. I asked a member of staff and they had no idea where the course was either!
Good Course for the cost
Thoroughly enjoyed my round. The college runs a course on green keeping so the course is maintained by students. While it's not up to the standard of the expensive golf clubs, I really can't see how people can complain for the cost. I joined immediately afterwards and now play there a couple of times a week.
The course was fine greens a bit parched
Never saw any staff
Not the easiest course to find and I’m still looking for the pro shop.
All in all nice easy walk.
