Staining Lodge Golf Course

Course was good, playing conditions were very wet and windy.

Excellent course with wide well kept fairways and 1st rough cut pretty forgiving, wind can wreak havoc with shots, greens were Excellent and considering weather only a couple places required preferred lies.(front of 8th Green being the worst but ongoing course works to rectify)

Great course and an opportunity to shoot a great score.

Junior round great value for money (£10) at the course as downside of golf now is no junior pricing.

Warm up/practice area and range very good and very well priced range balls.

Course in great condition at the moment only negative today was the lack of golf etiquette amongst certain people using the course which resulted in our 2 ball taking 4 hours to complete 18 holes, not acceptable really.

Great course met up with another guy on his own and had a cracking round. Held up a little bit at times but I wasn't that bad. I would recommend to anyone to play it.b

The course is in great condition this year

Greens are starting to come together after spring treatments

Fairways have been mowed more regularly and are nice and short

Lovely staff

Patio bar/restaurant is awesome

Overall has a lovely relaxed feel, and you never feel “Pressured” during play

A pleasant course for my 1st game of the new year wide fairways that helped my game massively will hire a buggy next time a good 5 mile walk was not needed for work this morning (stiff) will play again

Course was in really good condition for the time of year with no temporary greens. Will definitely play here again in the near future.

The recent rain has done wonders for this course since my last visit. Its not playing very nicely tee to green inclusive.

The one downside was the 4 old boys that appeared on the 10th from nowhere, decent golfers but very slow and weren't offering anyone through.

Caused a bit of a queue

Have never gotten around to playing this course and I wish I had sooner. I normally take the old fella to Garstang for a Sunday afternoon round but I'll be taking him here from now on. Lovely greens, wide forgiving fairways, bunkers with actual real fluffy sand instead of that wet rock-hard stuff we normally get, just thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish.

The course is very forgiving. The only this which is not is the positioning of the pins on some greens.coudse is well manicured and rough cut down. I'll be back

This is probably 1 of the most underrated course's I've played, me and my friends have played here on numerous occasions. And the greens,club house and course are in brilliant condition..check it out for yourselves...well worth a visit.

Played here a number of times now, always kept well and the greens in good order!

Shot my best round ever yesterday so I’m chuffed.
