Nazeing golf club
Lovely course - but very disappointed regarding the pace of play. We actually called it a day on the 12th hole as the pace was far from ideal and we’d had enough. Shame really as the course was in good nick considering that most of the holes you had to tee off from mats.
Great game - challenging in places
Most enjoyable. Weather played a bug part. Greens improved after first few holes. Only downside was the mats.
Nazeing - Poor course
Very flat and boring course, not very challenging. Play was slow. Staff very unfriendy.

Very muddy, which ruined an otherwise good course
Very wet and muddy in places. Found out strange they was still allowing trolleys, making a mess of fairways.
Love this course normally and can't wait for it to dry out.
Staff are very friendly.
Clubhouse could use a little updating and decorating.
Good well kept couese
Conditions good considering recent heavy rain. Always see groundsman beavering away trying to keep course as best as possible.

Great condition considering the weather
It's been a long month of heavy rain, however this didn't stop the good people at Nazeing golf club keeping the course in excellent nick. We've played here a few times now and have had no complaints. A great challenging course for a fair price - will definitely be coming back.
Lovely greens
This course smacks of a course that once was very good, but appears to have lost is mojo
The greens are lovely and make the journey worthwhile. Sadly the pace of play ruined our day. Why is it that so many 4 balls refuse to allow faster 2 balls through, I find it very frustrating, and the perpetrators ignorant. A course Marshall would resolve the problem, but I get the sense the course can’t afford one - shame. It’s worth playing but if your experience is anything like ours you probably won’t go back. We aren’t

Great course but slow play
The course is in fantastic condition and the layout is really challenging. The pace of play at the weekend is incredibly slow and larger groups don’t seem to let quicker smaller groups play through. A course marshal should do rounds to ensure this happens.
