Great course even in windy conditions,pace of play was good. Pro shop was excellent and helpful. Would recommend this course to anybody

Was looking forward to this, but was somewhat disappointed. There were a number of winter mats in use which were like concrete, making it very difficult to hit irons off the deck, which was needed in the par 3s. A lot of considerable walks between holes. There was fertiliser all over the greens and a number of the fairways were being scarified. The putting green was closed due to recent damage and the short game area had been scarified meaning that was out of action too! There was a net though.

The course overall was quite dry so I’m not sure why the mats were in play. We got a hot deal meaning we paid £13 each. If we had paid more I think I would have asked for a refund!

A most enjoyable game of golf for a very reasonable price. Friendly staff in the pro shop and in the hotel. Booking is so easy, facilities are good. What's not to like? I will certainly play there again and will use Teeofftimes again.

Yet again credit to the course staff for making this a worth while course to play, we have been coming to play this course yearly and it never fails, top marks to all who run and keep this great course going.kind regards William Miles.

excellent value, interesting golf course, links sections are a real test on high wind days, every hole is completely different to the previous one, greens are rapid, overall the course offers risk and reward on most of the holes, the weather can change the degree of difficulty from one day to the next, really enjoyable.

An interesting course with some challenging holes. A fantastic ninth and eighteenth hole for a grandstand finish. A pint to round off the experience in a comfortable bar with good service and atmosphere. All in all a great day out. Well worth the trip from Leicestershire.

Even after all the recent rain course open on full greens which were in superb condition played as a three ball can’t wait to come back and play again soon.shot 87 handicap 14 not bad to say it was raining for the first 11 holes

Played this course 10 times and have never played to handicap. It is a great mix of inland and linx with massive diversity. Highly recommended.

great condition as usual, course seems to be un affected by rain, always playable always dry. nice mix of parkland and links, the greens are well rolled and a good test of your skill, I could play up and down the links holes forever and ever, also the ro shop and green staff are very friendly, pub,s not bad either nice food, great value

Course in good nick thoroughly enjoyed our day there were six of us altogether everybody enjoyed it will be playing again in the near future

The weather was very wet and we only played nine holes. However the pro shop was very accommodating and willing to move tee times around to try to take advantage of the weather breaks.

This James Braid course is unusual in that on some holes you play down a parkland fairway and then play your approach shot onto a links green.

But when the wind blows off the sea ,some holes are very challenging to us mere mortals!

What a fantastic course! challenging in places but also forgiving if you're not so accurate off of the tee. Allow 5 hours and you'll be fine. The greens were perfect, simply the best i have played on. I'll definitely be coming back!

Challenging Course for a 23 handicaper although holes with chances of birdies, few blind par 3's . Played on my own so caught up with 2 ball but they didn't want to let me through. Standard members I suspect, pro shop guy wasn't that polite even served a member whilst he was already serving me. Would play again for sure .

I have played north shore many times over several years and always enjoyed the linksy bit, very interesting. as you would expect despite the weather it is always dry (and usually windy) this year the quality of the putting surfaces is exceptional, nice grass cover, clean with good roll, surrounds are also beautifully presented, an absolute snip for the money
