Old Fold Manor Golf Club

First time round, found it fairly straightforward, not too many blind tee's, nice variation, very nice greens, some were craftily designed and would be worth noting next time round, it was mid November so a bit sticky and they were adjusting to winter tee's on some holes.A very enjoyable round was had. I found a wicked bunker guarding the ninth which coaxed me in. Also not too long to complete 18 - about 3.5 hours although 4 ball ahead did bail after nine.

Played alot of courses this year, this is a great value golf course, can be tough when windy, best greens they have had in a long time, true roll and turn.

Found members very friendly and a nice warm warm welcome in the clubhouse afterwards, and overall a very good experience and will be back

Greatly maintained greens shame about the fairway conditions

A favourite course to play for me over the years, greens are lush but fairways and tee boxes are bit worn.

Look forward to a revisit when the grass recovers.

A challenging course with wide undulating fairways. Strategically placed bunkers to catch wayward drives and approaches. Fast gently sloping greens and a few water hazards. Bunkers could be better very little sand.

Love this course, wide open fairways, bring your driver and bang-away. Though long the holes are still interesting with plenty of bunkers waiting to catch you. The whole course was immaculate - I couldn't quite believe that prior to me playing there had been lots of rain. Hitting a ball on the fairway and I was getting summer distances - the ground was so good.

Great course

The Club and Course are both well established and do things well. The course was really quiet. The course is well maintained, the fairways in excellent condition Dan fairly generous but wayward drives or second shots punished by tress, shrubs etc. The real challenge is the greens which are well protected and undulating still quick at least they were more receptive than when I played in the summer.

nice course, very fast greens and very welk kept. front 9 is definitely easier than back 9 with quite a lot of short par 4's. Fairways were in good condition and good pace of play.

On a sunny day this course was in great condition and a very nice design. People were friendly there too. First time that i had played there. Will surely play there again sometime.

Well maintained course with good quality tee boxes and tricky greens. Fairways in good condition, and a range of holes makes it interesting.

Back nine more interesting in my opinion, although front nine still fun to play. The only thing that could have improved the course is longer par 5's - but this is a small point and the long 17th and 18th make up for this!

Enjoyed Old Folds with some good friends... Despite winter conditions, we managed a good round

We have now played Old Fold on 3 occasions, in differing conditions, and loved it each time, winter, summer and autumn. It has a lovely layout with nice variety, with some holes similar to a links and some wooded. The greens have been excellent each time. It's easy to get to and to get around, bar and clubhouse friendly and comfortable--highly recommended and great value.
