A very enjoyable day out
The course is very well maintained . At present there is evidence of drainage pipes that have just been laid . The greens have drainage lines but will be great when the seed takes .
Overall a very enjoyable course good layout and friendly staff including the staff on the course tending to the repair and maintenance .
Great Course
Fantastic course in great condition. Greens in particular are superb with some challenges. Good mix of holes. Highly recommend.
Exceptional Condition
Best tee boxes I've played on this year. Fairways full of grass. Bunkers had good sand in them. Greens were very true. The course was really looking good. Lovely relaxed tempo. Followed by an ice cold beer in 29c. Highly recommended

Great course - slightly confusing
A great course..
You have to go under the bridge to get to but simple..

Big open fairway to miss…
Slightly confusing around the 10-13th we ended up on the wrong tee box…
But no issues..
Half way house / adbice
32 degrees yesterday, no half way house amenities !
We all struggled in the heat with no drinks on the back 9.
Why would the clubhouse staff not advise / notify there was no half way house open, so take some extra drink?!?!
Security
Despite all the pass codes in place a clear signage is lacking for when you come off the course by buggy. (Where and how to open the gate)
The buggies are rather old and an upgrade would be appropriate considering the 30 £ charges being levied.
Lovely round
I've not played here in over 10 years, so I could only remember a few holes.
The course was in good condition given the recent wet weather, the greens were very good.
There is an interesting mix of holes, a few have water hazards and these are in well thought out positions.
I was only in one bunker which wasn't quite as soft as I expected, but not sure if one is representative of all so can't comment on the quality.
We received a friendly greeting in the pro shop on signing in.
The course is picturesque, with good variability of elevation, the lakes look nice and there are swans and geese around.
The biggest let down, which they can't do anything about, is it's proximity to the A1, so it's certainly not a tranquil walk through the parkland. At no point on the course can you not hear the road and at times it's very loud.
Would definitely come back and play again.
A fabulous course
With every hole containing a challenging feature and 4 holes where you have to play over water this course is fun and challenging! This was my first visit in over 30 years and the course is better than I expected!
I absolutely love this course!

Workers watering the greens , fairways and tee’s.
Showed up early and they let me go out as a single.
