Extremely difficult, lost all my balls! Very hilly, pretty wild, small fairways, no good for high handicappers like me

Interesting course. Difficult to navigate in places and thanks to the locals to help out with directions. Shared with lots of walkers and shared fairways made it busy. A couple of blind par threes were interesting to say the least. Greens were quite slow but fair. You need to be straight and lucky in a few places. Very challenging for a short course and playing it for the first time as a higher handicapper.

Staff member has not strict on tee times, therefore a ling wait on the 1st as 3 groups of 4 were tild to just carry on. Shared fairways is a nightmare as you are waiting for other players to move on around 6 holes. Had to skip holes 8 and 9 due to slow playing groups ahead. Lots of public walking across fairways had no consideration for golfers. Not ideal course for a busy weekend.

A good round, the rough is really rough, so lost a few balls.

Also had a dog get one of my balls and then the owner threw it again for the dog, effectively stealing my ball!!

Got paired with two gentlemen who were very friendly and I enjoyed playing with them. The people in front were very slow which made it difficult. But I love the course. Would recommend highly

Played course for the second time, both times on a Thursday evening so not that busy, course in good condition and quite a challenge. Grest value for the price. Will definitely be playing this course many more times.

Very interesting course. Up and down topography. Great views. Certainly a challenge created by the ground layout. Set up for fun rather than tournament play.

When the sun is out this course is absolutely stunning, today’s round was a joy. The greens and fairways have dried out and the course is in great condition.

Clubhouse is comfy and friendly .

Nice simple bar food menu .. which was perfect . Hot and fresh .

Great course if a little quirky, greens very good considering weather we have had , overall well worth a visit , just be prepared for lots of walkers and dogs , staff were brilliant from guy in pro shop to lady in bar afterwards .

Will definitely be back to play again.

Course was in good condition considering the time of year, must say when it’s a windy day it’s definitely a course best avoided!

All In all an enjoyable morning, tees where quiet and all winter mats where superb.

Will be returning come summer time definitely!

What a great little course this is. Every hole presents a different challenge and requires some thought as to how to play it best. It really needs to be played a few times to get best results. Greens are adaquate but need some work. Best to play early in the morning to avoid walkers who have rights of way all over the course.

Played on New Years Day. Really enjoyable course with lots of slightly quirky but fun holes. Some blind shots but nothing that seemed unfair. The only issue was the number of walkers, dogs, bike riders, horses, cows and kite flyers. Understandable as it was a sunny NYD morning but it did slow down the round. But who’s in a hurry to play golf anyway. Will play again.

Good quirky course with lots of challenging holes! Good fun and will definitely be returning when the weather gets better! No temp greens even with lots of rain very satisfied’
