Panshanger Golf Complex

Played today tee off time 9.52 went to reception to book in nobody informed me that the green keepers were hollowtyning the tees and greens so the front nine holes were on temporary greens also the temporary greens were not cut at all complete waste time this morning at least I did not pay green fee being member..I don’t know were they get it’s one best courses in Hertfordshire, as far as I am concerned it’s way below average,Try Stevenage golf course it’s far better value for money.

Excellent course in great condition, this is one of the best courses in the area. would highly recommend this course.

The greens and tees were very good but some of the fairways had suffered from the dry weather.

Panshanger is an excellent course in great condition. Challenging for all levels of golfer, will definitely play here again.

Good interesting course , good price but buggies were expensive, need to use your head on this course to score well , position off tee important

We foolishly played on a very hot day and the course was empty.

The greens were surprisingly slow given the dry weather and we struggled to judge distance because of the hard ground.

We still enjoyed the course and will play there again soon.

I was playing bu myslef got stuck behind a 4 ball who held me up for 5 holes, clearly did not want to let me threw, even though they were scoring 7/8 on par 3s, had words about etiquette, apparently they dont have to let a single player threw. I WILL NEVER PLAY THERE AGAIN.

Greens were superb and it’s a great course. Only issue is that it’s been so unbelievably dry recently that some holes on the back 9 were almost unplayable. No fault if anyone at all and when it rains a bit it’ll be great.

I had a nice round lovely course but I still haven’t received a refund for my round I didn’t play on Tuesday 12th June! Please could a receive the refund ASAP as a cancelled the round and panshanger said I should get money back! Staff were very helpful at desk!

Great public course with good greens and challenging layout.

Panshanger is a very good looking course with some lovely holes and is a genuine test. Very good condition especially for a pay and play and the best thing of all, rarely very busy. Midweek you can often just turn up and tee off.

Played on very cold morning. Greens were frozen but rest of course in good condition. Very enjoyable round.

The weather was sunny after the previous few days of rain which meant the bunkers were GUR due to many being water logged, however, the rest of the course, including the greens were dry. Staff were polite and courteous. The course was quite challenging and picturesque with a good variety of different holes. One of my playing partners (with a single figure handicap) found it entertaining and enjoyed it enough to remark he would like to visit again. All in all a good day was had by all.

Booked a 4-ball at Panshanger and couldn't believe what great value for money it was. Our tee off time was 3pm and although a bit wet when we started the weather was perfect with little wind. Course was in great condition and greens well maintained apart for the odd pitch mark. We finished within 4 hours with no waiting and no one pushing us. Looking to book another round within the next 2 weeks.
