and sad to report it’s not better, many fairways have unplayable areas due to the poor drainage and boggy conditions, although some signs of drainage work are evident it’s still has a long way to go before it’s a course suitable for winter play. I also don’t recall the greens being such a mess, the amount of unrepaired pitch marks is unreal, no sure what this is an evidence of but the greens were not good. Winter tee mats are ok, but clearly not cleaned or maintained as they are just mud mats. And as for slow play, ridiculous, people shanking it 100 yds off the tee the. waiting for greens to clear 250 yds away! jokers! Lots of young lads too that don’t seem to be aware of course etiquette. Such a shame as this course could be a gem, but so much improvement needed. Won’t be returning anytime soon.

Course was wet in places but staff were honest about the conditions. Allowed on early as not busy. Enjoyed the course and.all greens in play and decent condition

18 holes for under £15 is great value..

Average conditions with seriously poor pace of play , zero golf etiquette at this place , people playing in any old clothes aswell not for the serious golfer at all conditions were average nothing amazing , it was £67 before 2 o’clock aswell luckily I only laid £24 but I think that was over priced at this place a pound a hold would have been a fair price £18 is all it’s worth

Rothervalley was in good condition,fairways and greens have been well cared for,also tee boxes.The course has a good layout,making it easy to play 9 holes only if you wanted to as your at the club house after 9 holes.The staff in both pro shop and bar areas are friendly and helpful.There is a good selection of beverages and beers including nonalcoholic and bar snacks.The outside seating area has all new tables and benches/chairs too.The only minor criticism l could make is a little bit more sand in bunkers please other than that would recommend to all

Played ok

Met by a lovely older guy in the shop,very chatty and welcoming, bought a couple of drinks,paid for our buggy then enjoyed our 18 hole round, lovely course in good condition

Conditions recently haven’t been great with the water bans etc, but the staff are keeping the greens in top condition! The fairways are looking tired but with no heavy rain, I’m not surprised! All holes and surrounding areas are being kept well so can’t say enough! Worth a visit for the price!
