Lovely, well maintained course and friendly staff
Played Lees Hall a few times now and have enjoyed it every time. The pro was friendly and welcoming, advising on the course for the day. There are some challenging well thought out holes, which I loved plotting my way through. The course was in good condition and the greenkeepers were out in force throughout the day. Slightly damp in places after recent rain but this did not affect anything and after the dry summer we’ve had a bit of damp was needed. Seriously thinking of joining here next season.
Great course. Lovely condition and a good challenge
Superb
A stunning course, with challenging holes. From tee to green perfect. The greens are the best I've played in a long time. Staff so welcoming and helpful. Overall outstanding will definitely be visiting again soon.
Great course, all greens in play
Middle of November and the course was in great nick. All greens and bunkers in play. At £25 a round, brilliant value.
Great track
Fair price great condition for year
Staff very friendly
Michael the pro knowledgeable and very helpful
Well worth a visit
Excellent
I found lees hall to be in excellent condition, from tee to green. Played just after 3 so got the twilight price but play was a good speed and easily managed 18. Plus a couple at the 19th. 🍺👍
Ok
Played today at Lees Hall, about half a dozen times I’ve been round here now. Has a good mix of interesting holes and can be tough in places. Today the greens were like solid rock and any shot or chip on to them just bounced forever and the ball would just run off, made for a very annoying round. Some tee boxes needed attention too, fairways good. Quite expensive really.
Ps Saw a few players hit there tee shot left off the first which is where the car park is so bring some bubble wrap for your car lol
Great course conditions
Considering the recent amount of rain and the time of year the course was fantastic
Sandy greens
Overall the course was good but greens had more sand on them than Blackpool beach, just dropped on at the wrong time. Would definitely play here again
So Welcoming and all players on the course were polite
The assistant pro, a young lad but very efficient and friendly young man made us feel welcome and took me through a couple of need to know info on the course layout which is where my slightly negative comment comes from. The walk from the fifth green to the sixth tee puts you in real danger where you have to cross a fairway of a long par four which is blind to yourself so you don’t know if anyone is playing the hole as you could end up with a pro v1 in the cheek. The other other negative was the number of stones in bunkers which I managed to avoid until the last. The course played beautifully and quick greens and very hole having a different feel it was a fantastic round which is undulating but you don’t really feel it. Would recommend and we will be back.
Very surprised
Never believe the ratings. I was dubious about playing this course due to the low ratings but was pleasantly surprised to find the course in very good condition from tea to green. Some interesting holes and a very good 19th. Really don’t understand how it scores so low. I would definitely recommend it.
Assume this player is from a rival course and we were in Covid times, so no greenstaff for 6 months.
