Junior Open Fiasco

We were supposed to be playing in the junior open today.

We arrived today.

We got told AT THE CLUB, that the open was cancelled over a week ago.

We had NO NOTIFICATION or COMMUNICATION it was cancelled.

NO APOLOGY WAS GIVEN FOR WASTING OUR TIME.

Appalling service, appalling comms, customer service -10.

We missed out on another junior open because of this fiasco and we will never play this course now.

I also heard they treated their junior section appallingly in the last few years. I can see that in the complete lack of care, skill and customer service we experienced.

Tree line tight fairways pure greens unforgiving this is what makes golf great.

Cavendish course a joy to play

The course was in excellent condition.You can see where all the pre Easter work has paid off.Sorry to say l can not comment on off course ammenities as l did not use them

Treelined course with great greens

Trickier than most courses with accuracy needed off the tees due to the treelined fairways. Greens in great condition, some fairways a little patchy with ponds on several holes to mix it up. The bunkers were inconsistent in their sand consistency, very friendly staff and members. Pace was slow.

We’ll maintained challenging course

Always a pleasure to play at Bondhay, course is in excellent condition and poses a real challenge for any player. Fairways are tree lined and you need to be a straight hitter otherwise you can easily get into trouble. Some challenging holes with water hazards on 4 holes so be sure to have a few spare balls in your bag.

Not the Bondhay of old this course as really gone down hill most of the fairways were unplayable I know we’ve had a lot of rain but try and do something 🤷🏻‍♂️greens full of sand must have been form the bunkers as they where no sand in them and at 40 pound a round hopefully things improve in the future ⛳️🏌️‍♂️

Bondhay winter golf

Bondhay golf course is in the transition of winter golf to spring.This means the course is obviously not at its best as grounds men are getting it ready for this up coming season as reflected in the green fees.The course is still good value for money with a good challenging lay out.

Bogged out

Played 3 ball saturday very very dissapointed as this is one of our favourite ciurses.was not informed on booking that tgere was temp tee boxes on some hole temp greens on some and even fairways were bogged out.would have been nice to have known just how bad condition the course was in.And to top it off was still charged £40 prr person 3 very unhappy golfers
