About
The New Course at White Bluff tips out at 6,964 yards and features water on 16 of 18 holes. Plan your shots accordingly on this tricky track, as there are numerous blind water hazards that you will not know existed unless you’ve played the course before.
This course isn’t as scenic as the Old Course, with no views of the lake, but offers one picturesque par 4 that plays almost 400 yards with pond framed by a large rock bluff. Watch the finger of water that cuts in front of the green on the approach.
Getting there : From I-35 going N, get off at Exit 368A, drive W for about 17 miles to the City of Whitney, head N on FM (Farm to Market) 933 for 7 miles to the course.

Better than ever
Course just reopened after greens and bunker replacement. In better shape than it has ever been. Greens are as good as any around. Still needs a little maturing as do all new greens. This is a very challenging course in case you have never played it before. Well worth playing for the money!
Is White Bluff Resort Closing?
Wanted to play Old Course on lake but closed "until future notice". New Course fairways burned unmoved & ragged. Greens painted to coverup dead areas with dead patches on 6 greens. Rough was mowed but leftovers made locating ball impossible. Did I mention bunkers not maintained with weeds & grass taking over? What a pity for this resort to be in such deplorable condition. Few people playing... but they do have nice clean carts and good burgers- try the jalapeño buns!!

White Bluff Resort is alive and well after its POA purchased the resort from the developer last year. Both golf courses have been renovated. New Course opens between Aug.15 and Labor Day. Old Course reopens about a month later. Homes are selling very well. Mulligan's is newly renovated food/beverage venue on New Course.
