second time on the course. Staff very welcoming. Slower groups let you play through. Very hilly in places, but greens in good condition.

Really nice course, in good condition. Just spoilt by the extremely slow play!!!

Like most courses needs a bit of work on fairways but overall good course to play.

No tee box is level under foot. Very challenging course for a intermediate player.

I haven’t played here for a long time but pleased to say it has improved massively & will definitely return.

Two things the pro shop should try & do though :

1. For fourball bookings please encourage them to let smaller groups play through & keep up the pace of play. We (as a two ball) played through two very slow fours who were initially reluctant to let us go. They spent far too long looking for balls & probably held up most people teeing off after 8am. After we played through we whizzed round in under 3 hours 30 which was phenomenal for a Saturday morning.

2. Remind people to repair pitch marks. The greens are in good condition but won’t remain that way of players continually have poor etiquette.

Paid £45 for an early tee off - thinking the course must be pretty good for that price - but how wrong I was. The set up of the course is pretty bland, very hilly with not much landscaping so you’re always playing a ball above or below your feet.

The condition was abysmal, couldn’t tell what was fairway and what was rough as weeds and long grass could be found throughout. Greens no good either.

Furthermore, the Pro shop was shut when we arrived, with a note saying it wouldn’t be open, and to just turn up and play. No toilet facilities, no food or drink (on hottest day of the year).

Just a complete shambles. I play a lot of courses, some only £15 a round - and this is the worst by far. Do not play here.

A wonderful looking course but currently in need of much TLC! Tee-boxes were poor, fairways in need of a cut, bunkers unkempt and greens unloved with far too many unrepaired pitch marks.

I am sure that once the hotel has re-opened and there are more visitors the required money will be spent on the course. There are some magnificent holes and views.

Beautiful setting. Great layout. Challenging, especially in the rough, which in some cases is close to the fairways. At £45 it's about £10 to £15 more than other similar courses we play at but we love the course so don't mind the bit extra

The grass even on the fairways stood above the height of the ball. Even good straight shots were impossible to find..

De Vere Selsdon is always a challenging and fun course. Though most holes are pretty open, depending on the time of year, it plays completely differently.

The greens are in decent nick and I’m looking forward to the next round this summer.

The greens still need a bit of time to get back to Best But the Overall condition is very good. Staff are excellent and it’s a fantastic course

7.20 tee off meant the pace of play was good. Disappointed in condition of course generally but the setting is very pleasant and the staff were excellent. Set up marquee on lawn so food etc can be served during these restricted times. Wouldn’t rush back to play though.

Generally a nice place, the greens are a little inconsistent, and some of the bunkers are lacking sand.

The most unglamorous entry to the golf course from the car park. Would be nice to have a chipping green.

Fairways generally good, and all in all it’s a nice place. Lots of elevation.
