Nice course, very hilly but an interesting challenge.

Greens were a little bumpy but other than that course was in decent shape.

Condition of the tee boxes was awful. Fairways not much better either. Need to give the course a good water and some TLC. once they do this it’ll be a good venue as it’s a challenging course.

I liked this course, yes the course could be in a bit better condition but the lack of rain has been a factor re dry fairways and the greens were taking the water, the lay out of the course was really good and very hilly and interesting.

Pace of play was a bit slow and that was a downside but on the whole great value for money and I will return.

Played this course countless times but the greens and tee boxes were a very low standard. Understand it has been a difficult time but for £35 per round I would expect better course conditions. Despite a mid-afternoon tee time, the rate of play was particularly slow, suggesting that as many tee times were booked in as possible.

Considering the time without players on this course, you would expect a lot of effort to have gone into ensuring the course was in great condition. But truth be told, fairways weren't great, greens were awful (bobbly) and rough/areas around the green were dry and hard.

The course was in great condition considering it was right after lockdown eased. The greens had just been cored, but give it a week or two and they'll be in top shape

Probably the best course I have found in south London open to the public. Course is full length with no holes crammed in. It’s challenging because it’s quite hilly and holes are more tree lined than other park based courses. Pace of play was fine with pro shop pushing people out on time.

Love playing this course. The staff are excellent and the course is well laid our and a good challenge. Would have given this 5 stars, excellent if the greens were better. They weren't in bad condition but considering they hadn't been played on for 3 months, we thought they might be a bit better. Overall we really like playing Devere. It's a bit more expensive than other similar courses but we'll definitely be back to play again

Firstly I’d like to the staff for their super friendly & helpfulness due to public transport issues.

The course is a nicely laid out parkland course south of Croydon, this par73 played the time expected for the course. Greens were tined, I would have preferred that they had done this during lockdown but nature’s a funny thing. Greens were good and for most the fairways were also ok. A couple of the tees locations were uneven and the white tees in an easier location. I would recommend this course to anyone.

The course was in great condition considering it had literally only just opened after the third lockdown. The staff were very friendly and tee off was slick and on time.

Word of warning to anyone having not played here before, the course is very up and down, not sure I had a flat lie all day.

Buggies were available to hire at very good rates - we took this option!
