Great course - very forgiving and beautiful. Lovely layout with some great holes. Good for mid handicappers. Greens are a bit slow and not up to the standard of the rest of the course.

Paired up into a four ball. Luckily the guys were great fun but I think it's poor not to be told of that before. Course in poor condition, particularly the greens, which were awful - putts regularly jumped half a foot into the air! Made a lottery of it. Pace of play poor - think they crammed too many people in trying to maximise takings post lockdown. Took us 4h45m! Look elsewhere and perhaps don't use GolfNow if you want to stay as a two ball, as the staff suggested it was the app policy rather than theirs.

Greens like putting on the moon. aprons in shocking condition. Over 4 hours for a round but after lockdown expected.

Nice friendly course with a relaxed pace. Lovely scenery and well maintained. Greens were a little inconsistent but that probably has as much to do with time of year and lack of play. Due to COVID restrictions we were unable to use any amenities

Was hoping that the greens would have been cut just before but they were slow a bumpy. Tee boxes, nearly all were uneven and grassless. I know it has rained a lot and dried out quickly so going to get a few uneven features. Will be back later in spring/summer and will be hoping for an improvement. Still it is a nicely laid out course and tricky par 4's.

For a round in late December with a lot of rain in recent weeks, this course was in superb condition. Greens great, fairways great and tee boxes also very well kept. Only slight downer was a few tee boxes replaced with mate. Highly recommended.

Problem was that all the greens were closed and this was not advertised clearly when booking. Temporary greens were badly mown fairway and this spoiled the game. So a disappointing round which was a pity as we’ve played a number of times and enjoyed it. Will check course conditions more carefully in future, but this type of change should be prominently advertised.

This course appeared on Golfnow at a reasonable price, when many courses are charging much to high a price, exploiting golfers at this troubling time. However, golfer beware. It was in TERRIBLE condition. 18 temporary greens, that we were not warned of beforehand. Very muddy poor fairways. Overgrown bad tees. The temporary greens were shocking.. I have since seen it advertised at £28. That is an absolute rip off. Even if the temporary greens have been taken off, the rest of the course is not worth half that price. Please steer clear unti at least next spring.

We played on a day when they were temporary greens, which were a joke. They had placed the pins in the roughest bit of fairway they could find.

This used to be a top quality course, but needs some serious investment to get it back to where it should be.

In consideration of the weather we've had over the past few days, the course was not in bad condition. The layout is good, my major gripe was having to pay £41.00 for the condition of the greens. I understand that they have to be prepared for the winter but having your ball smothered in sand was not enjoyable. I have played here before and would play again.

Nice layout but unfortunately the fairways are like football pitches the tee boxes on severe slopes and the greens had just been spiked and sanded

Very enjoyable Saturday afternoon. The course is beautiful; hilly, lots of trees and some big dog-leg par 4s.

Only negative was the pace of play. Three 4-balls ahead of us meant we walked the course in 4.5 hours

Would definitely return and recommend to anyone looking for a challenging round close to London
