Excellent course in great condition...

Excellent layout...greens running true and in great nick. A number of challenging holes - need to play of the whites to ensure a decent challenge.

A good course with challenging greens.

We played on a good warm day behind a nice group of three retirees. Pace was ok - a 4 hr round which seem to be about par for the course according to the score card. Wide fairways require some good positioning play onto some interesting and challenging greens. The facilities were not particularly great considering it is within a De Vere Hotel complex. Good value for money with TeeOffTimes!

First time I played the course. Was given a voucher but green fee would only have been about £20.00; very good value.

It is a very, very hilly course and if I had known would have taken a buggy. Will do so next time I play there, hopefully later this summer.

Spring is here! Weekend slow play too.

I've played Selsdon twice in the last week and the good news is that Spring has been dry and the course's tendency to Winter mud has gone. The course is in great condition. But what a contrast between midweek play and weekends! Midweek my round took 200 minutes; at the weekend it was 290 minutes. Weekends are always slower (I would expect another 40 minutes) but this verges on the ludicrous. I always like to see new people on a golf course but there is no attempt made at Selsdon to monitor/marshall the pace of play and the result is that novice golfers play out to the bitter end - no picking up when points scoring is an impossibility. Come on chaps - this is basic golf course management!
