Priors Course - Worth a play
saw this on Tee Off times for a tenner and thought we would give it a go
is not bad to be fair, some nice holes on the course but bunkers are not really playable
worth a tenner though
Lot of work going on. Shortened tees.
3 of the holes are currently playing very short as temporary tee box on fairways which also makes for sloapy muddy tee shots.
Plenty working going on by motorway side with new mounds. All rubble and brick.
Pikeys roaming around the 13th green on mo peds meant we had to wait to play our second shots. Green covered in cut up tyre marks.
Could be could good once work is complete and facilities improve.
Ok course
Although there had been a deluge of rain the day before and some light rain during the greens were in quite good condition, fairways were sodden all over, there is still work being done and the 10th green is dangerous with lumps of hard-core laying around the green edge and one one corner the green NOT GOOD ! this is a progressive course and will be better when finished and in the dry, the main let down was no 19th hole only a porta cabin , do not know if this will change during development. More signs around like 'next tee this way ' would be beneficial, on the whole it was an ok course.
