Sudbrook Moor for the first time.
As a beginner, and recently moved to the area. I picked a clear day to play the course with my father who’s a keen golfer.
18 holes (playing 9 twice) for £30 on a friday lunch time is a great price considering how well kept the course is, with maintenance teams zipping around all afternoon keeping it in top shape.
First stop into the cafe for a tea and sausage bap, friendly staff and fair price.
We did find it a bit confusing finding a few of the next tees positions and some were only marked with a piece of laminated paper.
Some water and deep bunkers are dotted around but clear to see and the greens are well maintained.
A few pars, and overall 115 at the end, I’m pretty happy with as a new golfer, I’ll be heading back in a few weeks for another round.
Sudbrook Moor
Excellent unpretentious friendly staff and course. Ideal for people that don’t take themselves or the game too seriously. A marvelous way to spend a few hours
Great course and massive value for money
Sunny Sunday
Whilst all courses around are heavily water logged Sudbrooke played so dry on the fairways, understandable that we teed off from mats to protect the tee boxes. Although the greens were slightly soft they were superb and will I'm sure be fantastic in weeks to come. Well worth a visit.
You will be hard pushed to find better value for money in regards to their driving range and massive 140 bucket awaits
Great little club
Sudbrook is such a great little club. The practice facilities are top notch. Putting and chipping greens, practice bunker and driving range. The whole course is very well looked after. The winter tee boxes can be a little frustrating to play from but they are needed to maintain the course. Defintely qorth playing at as the two sets of flags really make it feel like a worthy 18 holes.
Nice vourse
Very nice course Lovely greens , but need to speed up very slow at time , waiting, hard to get full round in when late tee off in winter.
Cracking little course for the price
Best around for the price imo
4 ball 18 holes had a great time, will be back again!
Hole over the water , never get it right
This course is the best 9 holes i played on , the greens are fast and well kept. Par 3 are very hard.
Lovely little course
I always love returning here. The whole place is welcoming and friendly. A short but testing course has a few delightful yet challenging holes.
A nice bite before you go out or after is recommended. Driving range, practice putting and chipping greens and a lovely little clubhouse 👍👍
Course has great greens.
The course has great greens and a great course layout with also good facilities, such as a 2-story range and a putting and chipping green. Would recommend.
Short Course
Ok as the company was good, but play was very slow, As it was a very short course you were alway waiting for green to clear on driveable par 4's. 9 hole course which is tight in places, which you play twice with shared greens on most. Greens were in pretty good condition and the rough wasn't too punishing. a lot of tree in play if you get off the fairway.
Great
Greens, terrific. 9 quirky holes, wonderful facilities, warm welcome. Play and you’ll return. Only critique was that there was a competition off the whites, intermingled with general play and the course was a little “backed up”. Enjoyable nevertheless.
