Telford Golf Club
A challenging course with plenty of dog leg holes, hitting the fairway off the tee is crucial. Whilst the greens are in great condition I don't think there's one that doesn't slope one way or the other, so putting is difficult when judging the pace.
Great day out
We hold our own little majors each year at different course and we hit the jackpot with this one. Challenging but playable and well looked after.
The only criticism I would give Is the signage for next tees could be clearer.
Very good course with good practice areas and golf range, just a few little things that could be improved and that’s the tee boxes as they have been battered, fairways need to be cut tighter as I found them a little bit longer than normal, and the next tee signage could be placed in better places. Staff are friendly in pro shop and also in the bar,
Great course.
I'm not a fantastic golfer but I really like this course. I play it quite often and would definitely recommend it. It has a driving range and practice area for warning up too.
Wet feet
Very surprised the course was open. A lot of rain during the week giving a very boggy course. Greens still very playable considering the wet conditions. Bring on the summer, great course.
Wet
The course is not very good in the wet, would like to play in the summer. Slow play didn’t help the round either what you would expect for £11
At the right time potentially a great course
Lots of great holes but too wet with fairways not cut and bunkers in poor condition.
Clubhouse good and would love to play it again in drier conditions.
A little boggy
Good course to play but getting churned up by buggies & trollies now, they need to stop golfers using them or it will be a mud bath soon
Boggey when wet
Great course to play but gets churned up when wet, they need to stop buggies & trollies now
5 hour round
Course itself was in good condition for the year and the greens are VERY challenging, almost championship pace.
Pace of play was horrible, at one point we had a 9 ball and a 6 ball infront of us, made the round an unenjoyable one.
Solid Course
Apart from the cost of a buggy at £30 where I usually pay £20 at away courses I enjoyed playing here.
Excellent value for money
A course that’s a good test of all abilities dog legs from left to right and right to left with water thrown into the equation.
Fairways a bit dry but expected in the heatwave we have had.
Very enjoyable course to play would recommend and would certainly play it again has I have done before.
Telford golf course
Great Golf course with Absolutely stunning greens
Some lovely holes to open your shoulders on and some to get the old grey matter going
Not to hilly and pace of play very good 3-50!for a 3 ball is a fair pace of play for a long course like this
Great value for money and well worth a visit before autumn sets in
Probably the best greens I’ve played on this year absolutely true and lightning fast
Nice days golf
Nice course with fantastic greens in perfect condition after a harsh dry spell. Good value for money at £20 for Saturday morning. I can honestly only remember 2 or 3 holes from yesterday.
Telford golf & spa
Excellent course good layout
Only criticism is a lack of signs pointing to next tee on a few holes
Greens absolutely like lightning
If you get the chance to play it before it gets too wet jump at it it’s well worth a go
