Nice days golf
Nice course with fantastic greens in perfect condition after a harsh dry spell. Good value for money at £20 for Saturday morning. I can honestly only remember 2 or 3 holes from yesterday.
Telford golf & spa
Excellent course good layout
Only criticism is a lack of signs pointing to next tee on a few holes
Greens absolutely like lightning
If you get the chance to play it before it gets too wet jump at it it’s well worth a go
Golf course was in quite good condition after 4 weeks of hot weather , greens were in very good condition .one down side was the drinks and food in the bar was expensive
Great course
Fantastic course fast challenging greens
Joined another two ball as we caught up with a few four balls
Will go back
Great holes
Good holes, in good condition in fact booked again for Tuesday need I say moor
GREENS ARE great and loved the lay out
Played late Sunday afternoon so was quit
Greens run true and there are some great looking holes
Best course I have played for the value
I will be going back again
My son and I played the course and found it very frustrating having to wait around 5 - 10 minutes due to around 3 to 4 groups of 4 balls delaying the whole golfing experience. We only played the 9 holes as the pace was very slow. The 3 ball group in front only played the 9 holes and the group of 2 behind us walked off after 9 holes.
Some better planing of tee off times would help to make this course a better experience for all
Really enjoyed the course, pace of play excellent. A lovely way to spend a day
Wet and snowing
Only,e on the course, weather atrocious, but grateful for the game, drainage?
Muddy
Course was very muddy and water logged..probably should have been closed' but we enjoy playing the here' and for the price we can't complain.
A very attractive course, many fairway bunkers. Seems to retain water in the heavy clay soil, so even after several dry days the course was very muddy. In dryer conditions, this would be a fine test of golf.
damp in parts
Most people who have played this course will already
know that it is a great course to play in the summer,
however it does seem to suffer in the wet months and was surprisingly damp even at this early stage of winter.
Great Greens
Played this course for an amazing £10 green fee. The course was very wet in places and it was frustrating that there was no local lift, clean and place rule as I had mud balls a number of holes.
The greens were in tremendous condition, very fast and with tricky slopes. I found it strange that several pitch marks could be found for repair on each green,
Pace of play was generally good. The par 3s on the back 9 were beautifully framed.
A pleasure to play
Always in good condition when we play....probably the best course I've played' for under 20 quid.
Telford Bank Holiday Monday
Great sunny day course looked good. Staff very helpful. Practice facilities available although I didn't use the range it did look good.
The only problem was the extremely slow play an hour for 3 holes and the group of 2 in front had no idea. I gave up after the 3rd. I have been given a voucher to play again. The problem is & its not just at this course there are people playing who have no idea & just make it difficult for everyone else. This was a shame as the course and the 3 holes played were in excellent condition. I will be back this year to use this voucher but probably in the week when it should be a little quieter.
