The Millbrook Golf Club

For a Monday outing in November, the course was in good nick. Considering its winter, the greens were very very good... holding nicely and rolling very well. There are several shared greens but thankfully, they don't come in each other's way. A number of great holes, good layout, overall a very nice golf course. The pro shop and the bar was very welcoming and very friendly. Good practice facilities, range balls were only £1 per bucket. A dark blue flag on the pins, was challenging to see, with dark trees in the background, but small minor point.Thoroughly enjoyable day out. Thank you very kindly Millbrook... Great job!

Really nice course. Great price at 19 quid to play. Would definitely go again at that price.

Whoever the old (60-odd) pro shop attendant was - awful customer service.

I was told be another member of staff that my previously booked round was fine to be moved to another day. When trying to call to re-book, the pro shop went unanswered from 8-11. I can only assume to guy was smoking.

Upon arrival, the guy said that the way I booked made no money for the club, so it meant nothing to them. I don’t think this was an ambassador for the club, as I will now not recommend it to anyone.

The bar staff were lovely and the food was ok, but the course has about 4 good holes and the rest are not worth travelling more than 10 minutes for. And I come from some where with not many decent courses. For defence, I played and scored well, so I’m not bitter about the golf at all. Just an honest review by someone who knows a bit about customer service and golf courses.

Great course with excellent practice areas with stunning views, will definitely go back again soon

I stayed at the nearby center parcs and managed to escape the family for a round.

My expectations were fairly low given the price and time of year but I was really impressed particularly with the quality of the greens. Would love to come

Back for a round in summer.

Fast true greens,flat tees,,well kept fairways,couldnt fault it ,shame i live 2 hours away otherwise id be a member.dont let the couple of short par 4s fool you,they arent easy.really enjoyed the layout

This is a quirky but beautiful course. It's in great condition with the greens deserving a special mention.

It's a lovely piece of land with a lot of very memorable holes in an excellent layout.

You will need to play it more than once though in order to get used to the lay of the land, but that's something I'll look forward to, hopefully soon.

Having never played the course before there were a few holes where I would do things slightly different next time . However this did not detract from the enjoyment, I found it to be a fair course if you are in the rough you will be punished, but there fairway is wide enough to give everyone a chance to make a decent score . The greens where a decent speed and rolled nicely , I loved the links type bunkers ,but get in the wrong ones on a hole and you could be in trouble! All in all I found the course very interesting and in a high standard of condition. The Pro was very friendly and helpful as were all the staff in the club house , the food we all had was very nice . Overall nothing to complain about definitely worth a visit .
