A flat well kept course
Friendly golf pro in the shop, very helpful.
A flat course, bunkers in good condition considering the lask of rakes (corona virus). Greens well maintained.
Enjoyable Parkland Course on a beautiful day for golf
Excellent value for money golf course. We played it for the first time two weeks ago and enjoyed the layout of the course. There are a good mixture of par 3s, 4s and 5s, My personal favourites were 9, 10 and 12. The greens were very good on our first round, but had been spiked and sanded today, so they were a little slower today and took us a while to get the speed. We can only play golf 10-12 times a year usually across summer, so look out to play the best value courses in the area and would recommend The Springs highly.
Lovely course
1st time I've played this course and I wasn't disappointed, it is in fantastic condition. There is a nice mix of hazards around the course,it's pretty long with quite a few par 5's but no great elevations, staff were friendly and had an innovative way of not handling the flag, I would definitely play here again
Great course and easy to to navigate with some challenging features
Considering the recent weather conditions this course is particularly well managed with only two holes closed but additional holes added to compensate
Friendly and welcoming staff
UNBELIEVABLE COURSE AND STAFF!!!
Course was in great condition even in the pouring rain. Every single member of staff from the pro shop to the bar staff were extremely polite and made you feel welcome. Course layout was one of the best I have played.
Enjoyable flat Parkland course
Good quality fairways and greens for a Parkland flat course. Staff were friendly and the golfers bar was welcoming. I would recommend it.
Nice course layout
Course was well presented at first look but unfortunately greens had been aerated and masses of sand put on greens which hadn't been mentioned, course was in good condition apart from that and I appreciate work must be done but they should make you aware when paying a green fee
Plenty of room on course with very wide fairways and good mix of long and sgort par four's
A bad experience
Decent welcome, off on time, 4 quick holes, then logjam! A 6 match ladies match, unbelievably slow. After waiting for 2 holes we decided that lunch called. By the time we had had lunch, we played again and caught the match up on hole #14! Why weren't we told that this could be a problem? It would have been common sense and common courtesy. If we had waited we would have been around 6 hours - for an easy course. As to the course, a huge number of bare patches on fairways, greens not bad. But a resounding No.
Looking forward to going back when it's finished!
Despite loads of on going work it's still lovely to play. This course will be fabulous when it's finished! Pro and all staff are great and so is the food.
Good value
Nice course but at the moment it is under a rebuild and it has changed even over 2 weeks, lots of GUR but seeeing as it was only £20 we’ll worth a visit
Great layout
With the current hot weather all the courses are struggling but this was definitely more than made up for by the course layout. Clearly a little gem waiting to be discovered. Lots of work going on to improve the course which looks as though it will give further improve to the course. I will definitely be back in a couple of months when the changes settle in.
Really good course.
the improvement's can only make it beter
Played this course last year and really enjoyed it but nothing outstanding. Now looks amazing new bunkers put in makes it even more challenging and with the Trilby tour going there can only get better. Would wait until all work done as 3-8 all bunker's G U R didn't distract from a great course
Great
Course in great condition for this time of year, can’t fault it.
Always look forward to playing the course.
Cracking course
Great value course with challenging holes. Trees, undualting fairways, tricky greens and water hazards all come together to make for a pleasant golf course. Plenty of risk reward holes as long as your putting is on target. Probably not best for the beginner.
