The Springs Resort & Golf Club

A very playable course. Not overly long but requires some well placed tee shots. Very good free rolling greens. It would be difficult to lose a ball, as the rough is quite short and so pace of play is great.

Clubhouse food and service was excellent and very friendly.

Pro shop person was somewhat surly so didn’t buy the box of balls and shoes I wanted from him.

I will definitely play again.

Course was almost immaculate, one or two tee boxes weren’t great but looked like they were being repaired so no complaints. Clubhouse does a great breakfast and very friendly staff.

Had an amazing breakfast in the stunning club house. The course was fun with plenty of good holes and was in a decent condition. We then had a Sunday roast which was awesome, the staff were incredibly welcoming and I look forward to getting back to play again.

1st time playing the springs, played day after total deluge and was amazed how good the course played, for the time of the year and the previous days weather the greens were fantastic and very quick. Will be back in the summer to see how fast the greens can get.

First time playing at The Springs, and by far was the best course I have played in Oxfordshire. For someone who’s only been playing for a year it was one of the best days I’ve had, the course was in great condition. A mixture of obstacles and a few holes with water was a great test. Greens were in great condition also, after a round you have to head to the club house after and try the food and grab a drink to watch over the 18th, if you’ve had a bad day and also want to take your mind off what may have came before they even have TV’s playing all the sports in the bar. Will definitely be going back soon, thanks to everyone at The Springs

Played very early, nobody in front or behind, so ideal. Holes 14 & 15 not in play (winter play) but an additional 2 holes added to the front 9. Very friendly & warm welcome. Would play again, not too tricky with a few drivable greens. Could do with a couple of signs for the temp tee boxes to say what holes they are(Pro explained all, so no problems)

Friendly staff and good food, started in the rain but abandoned after 7 as the course went underwater with greens flooded and unplayable.

This is the 3rd trip to The Springs in 2 years and we found the course in fantastic condition for February. A number in our party were highly impressed by the greens, relatively fast and true for winter season. The course is not long but it tight with many hazards to catch you out if you are wayward. Bunkers were well mainitained with good amounts of sand and the course is overall in excellent shape.

Clubhouse and Bar are wonderful, after recent modernisation.

We all look forward to a return in the Summer when further improvements will have been made.

Course in great condition for this time of year, will be back.

Course and especially the greens were in excellent condition and the course was relatively challenging with bunkers well placed and the odd water hazard.

Pace of play was good, only waited a short time at a few of the holes.

I'd certainly recommend and will return.

Do yourself a favour and play this course!!!! Last played here two years ago ago and it's only got better. It was I fantastic condition especially considering we are towards the end of the year, the course itself isn't easy with a mix of tree/bunkers/water hazards. It's just a real pleasurable course. Had a nice lunch afterwards in the clubhouse which has had a major refurbishment

Very nice course, good fairways and great greens! £25 a very fair price!

Some of the more senior gentleman would do well letting the faster players through especially when unable to keep up with the group in front! That said, it was 4hours 20 mins for our 2ball.

Had some good chats with very nice lady members whilst waiting for the gentlemen so all was not lost!

Very nice course, in a tidy condition considering the weather we have had. Very enjoyable round, some tricky holes nice amount of hazards to keep you thinking..

Club house and Bar was tidy, reasonable prices. Lots of work going on here too, seems like they are building apartment rentals along the 1st hole. I would return and recommend 100%.
