Ullesthorpe Court Hotel & Golf Club

Nice location in the countryside in Leicestershire near Lutterworth, despite no rain forever the greens were in good condition. Interesting mix of holes and some tricky water to navigate. My only problem was paying £38 for a buggy, having only paid £30 for the round. For £38 I would have expected GPS and distance maps, but nothing but a bug standard buggy. No wonder most of the buggies were tied up and not in use!

Lost revenue if you ask me especially as there was a cart track around the course. Most expensive buggies ( as this was) always allow you to order drinks and food as you near the end of the round. No wonder the bar was empty!

T boxes very poor condition .no grass at all on several t boxes

Haven’t played the course for a while but obviously that’s an error as the course conditions were excellent, greens particularly good.

Apart form the weather we had a really good round of golf playing 2 excellent young players

weather made for tough going but we all enjoyed ourselves even if we was all somewhat wet

Played this for the second time and found it in great condition considering the amount of wet weather. The 9th hole is a great par 3. The tee is high up on an old railway bridge with a large drop down to the green. The layout is a bit all over the place, but I think that makes it the course it is. I would recommend playing this cause.

Turned up at Ullesthorpe and we pleasantly surprised by the short game practice facilitates. Great set up with a couple of putting greens and a chipping green, with great bunkers. The course it self was in great condition considering the rain we have had and the amount it rain whilst playing. Still open to trolleys and only a couple of tees were of mats. The par 3 9th was a great hole, teeing off an old railway bridge.

This was first time playing Ullesthorpe and the Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The club is undergoing some major improvements. The course was in great condition and although a couple of holes were a little confusing with signage (3rd/18th) it was a very enjoyable round of golf.

Definitely try it out

Friendly pro shop, course was good but needing water though all courses do at this time of year.

The course has changed a lot over the intervening 20yrs but all for the good. Excellent condition despite drought conditions. Greens very true and in good order. New facilities being opened by April 2026 (Huge Golf Shop 24 bay driving range) , already open a short game practice area plus on site is hotel and gym. Staff friendly and accommodating had a buggy due to knee injury but this was arranged at the last minute but encountered no problems at all and had a drink at the 19th hole after the round and was made very welcome.

Love the corse just a bit slow because of a small society group

Treated my brother to a birthday round of golf heard good reviews of the golf course the greens were groved and sanded like playing on winter greens but when booked it said nothing about the greens but took 106£ to play the course will not be going back there been robb of our money Micky mouse course

Enjoyable course with interesting holes and challenging greens, slightly disappointing that the 9th hole was shut due to drainage issues and we wasn’t made aware of this. However would play again for sure
