Good ambience
Few challenging holes and nice layout, it was fun playing for first time
Interesting course, shortish, slow play
Wanted to play a quickish morning round with my daughter but we were stuck behind very slow senior golfers. Joined up with the single player in front but still blocked on every hole. The staff are very friendly at the clubhouse, though not many facilities on offer (just a coffee machine). Course is shortish but interesting; needs a bit of TLC, e.g. no sand in some bunkers, felt like hitting off a road !
Great course to play will definitely be going back. Fairways & greens in perfect condition. Great test for driver and long irons. Small range great pre round warmup staff friendly.
Good day out
No surprise to be playing of mats with the weather we have had, some very wet patches on the course but good work from the green staff to get all 18 holes open. They're doing plenty of work to the course new bunkers that will be great when in play , work on some of the tees and removal of a few trees here and there. I look forward to coming back later on this year and seeing the finished article.
Tough course and in great condition would definitely play again
Overpriced
Arrived at course and was informed it was temporary tees and greens. Tees were mats. Greens were a hole in the fairway. Waste of money and time. We left after 9 holes.
Cosby is cool
This is a really nice course. The positives: lively lovely greens. Some nice views, varied holes. A fair course that reward good shots but enough trouble to punish really bad ones on most holes. The negatives - I’m not a fan of rolling lumpy fairways and these abound on a lot of fairways. But not all. Really good overall will certainly play again.
Cosby … wasn’t too shsbby
Played a early morning round At Cosby. Overall impression? Pleasing. The course is compact but is varied enough to keep you interested. A bit scruffy in places but the greens rolled very nicely. Only saw the green keeping staff and they were friendly and helpful, if you are thinking of playing don’t hesitate it a good golfing challenge.

Nice corse. 2 players squeezed in two tees infront of us which pushed back our tee time, then very slow play took 5hrs15mins.
Was warm and sunny tough so less painful .
And it was bank holiday
