Thanks for my excellent first time visit Ullesthorpe hotel and golf course.

Good day out but at the moment have paid twice due to my booking error ( choose current date instead of required date Ref.402968371) as discussed with your representative last Friday by telephone. Could you please advise next steps

Good layout easy to navigate. Fairways have held up the winter well . Greens not so well . But there are a lot of improvements being made . Staff are very friendly and helpful . Will definitely play again later in the year .

I cannot believe they can charge £35 when half the course is on temporary greens and tee's to the point where my England golf won't even let you score a card. This was barely a £20 round for me it's a shame they have the prices so high.

I prepaid through the GolfNow website the day before the game itself. It rained overnight and still continued to do so on the morning of the game. I asked the pro shop if the course was still open, the answer was ‘yes’ but it should not have been opened at all in my opinion because the greens were like jelly , the fairways were so wet that water came over the top of my shoes on 4 occasions. I would not be happy with the golf club if I was a member that allowed play when it was damaging to the course. To make matters worse we found that the clubhouse was closed after the game. Not happy! 😡

Played this course before and recommended it friends so played as a four ball. Overall very disappointed. No statement at time of booking regarding temporary greens nor temporary tees (I don't mean mats) nor any mention of badly infected greens by GolfNow or by the course itself. Overall temporary greens and greens proper were unplayable. Certainly was not worth the money and had I been aware of the above I wouldn't have booked. Cannot recommend this course which is a shame having played there previously. My playing partners have stated they would not play there again.

Though tee off time was a little late, good value, course in good nick. Could not fault anything.

£15 and had the course to ourselves on Monday afternoon. Even had Neck Oil and Sky Sports in the bar afterwards

Some nice holes. Challenging greens but open fairways so even high handicappers can score well. Definitely will be back

Played a couple of times now

Love the course. Nice challenging holes with rewarding holes. Course was immaculate greens are stunning and play pretty quick with some movement on most greens so green reading skills certainly help.

Pace of play unfortunately slowed things up with a few four balls in front that didn't want to let the smaller quicker groups through. Not the fault of the course really.

Going to get a full membership as really enjoying playing at this place.

Great track with some short par 4s to attack, interesting par 3s and then some long holes to end up.

The torrential rain didn’t spoil our day, we’ll be back looking for some sunshine..

Rough very long, too easy to loose balls just off the fairway. Fairway grass far too long. Greens too long and extremely slow
