Course in really good condition, particularly the greens with very challenging pin positions. Fair positioning of hazards.

Smashing clubhouse here with great cask beer available. Unfortunately the kitchen always seems to be closed after we play.

The only downside to the day was the extremely slow play. I put this down to the abundance of TV golf and amateurs emulating the time taken by the Pros.

Stunning grounds and really nice golf course with some very challenging holes, made even more challenging by several blind shots (T and fairway shots). Would definitely benefit with a small map on scorecard or on the hole signage a hole layout on the T box for a better visualisation as there are many hidden hazards and blind traps, tough for first time visitors!

So much to enjoy about this course. The fairways were lined with trees but there was plenty of space to hit your Driver. The greens were very good even though they had just been dressed.. l am looking forward to playing the course again.

Good course. Not overly long but makes you think about position.

On the hottest day of the year.... it was a really enjoyable experience. Lovely course architecture. The course was struggling due to the very dry weather - concrete fairways etc - but this is unavoidable. The greens were in excellent condition.

Just as a suggestion, I would add a course map onto the scorecard as there are many blind shots from tee & fairway. This would really help.

I’ve played this course a few times and it’s one of my favourites. It’s a great test with lots of different types of holes to keep it interesting. It only gets 4 stars for course condition due to the extreme weather we’ve been having but the tees and greens were still in brilliant condition.

Definitely worth a trip round

First time round here, pro friendly and helpful. Course in great condition with fast tricky greens ( proved my downfall on a few occasions!). Will definitely return to knock a few shots off my last round.

Course was baked yellow due to recent hot weather but hard fairways made it fun and drives just kept going and going, played like a links. Greens in great condition and bunkers really playable with deep sand which you dont get everywhere. Highly recommended if not a bit pricey.
