Lovely course - Slow round
Really enjoyed the course and what it has to offer. Staff amazing and friendly.
Plays very tricky in places but an enjoyable.
The one downside i would say is the pace of play... I have played twice now and both times was held up by larger groups with little or no choice of letting us play through.
I would recommend if not in a rush to finish the round.
Course was very well kept, fantastic greens and water features, fairways well maintained, great place for a challenging round of golf.
Good course but greens were sprayed
Great course, great layout and some lovely holes. Greens were in great condition but were spray they had in the greens was blue and he stained my New white nike golf shoes so bit annoying. Other than that great course
Great features and greens
Brentwood GC was a surprisingly good knock. Definately not a bombers course and uses the lay of the land well. It makes you work your way to the green rather than driver and short iron. Some creative holes. Tee boxes have seen better days and cpuld do with some attention to them but greens were very true and rolled well. Oddly the ground staff had sprayed the greens a very vivid green which was odd to the eye but didn't affect performance.
Definately worth another visit, great track overall.
Top Notch Track!!!
A very enjoyable place to play golf well designed holes, lots of tricky shots and well placed tees shots needed but a really lovely course .
Will be back very soon!!
Golf now price £10 each more expensive
Round price online was £25, but if you rocked up and paid it was £15 each! Disgrace really wont bother with app anymore
Enjoyable course which challenging shot to score well
We had a great time.
Credit to the greenkeepers and staff the course was open considering the amount of rain recently
Shame about the bunkers
Lovely course in the summer I know it’s been wet of late but has been fairly dry the last week or two but the every bunker is in a poor condition grass growing in every one lord only knows when they were last raked .
even a number set as GUP
Nice Course but can be slow
Brentwood is one of my favourite local courses which due to having a buggy track round the whole course tends to be open when others have to close.
Great layout with very few straight forward holes where it's possible to get a good score.
The only issue I've encountered, on more than one occasion. is the speed of play. which at times can be slow and frustrating.
No hassles
First timer and a single player, got a bit lost finding the 2nd tee, direction sign at back of 1st tee needs re-directing, got let thru by some friendly locals then had course to myself, fairways were firm (lack of rain), some very appealing approach shots, greens in very good nick apart from some hardened areas, undulating course, some sharp doglegs, overall it was a very reasonable test and enjoyable, thanks BGC
brentwood golf club
played with my brother as we have many times before
course in good condition as usual , as we are both pensioners we had a buggy , of on time helpful staff ,from pro to bar staff , the only concern we had was the bunkers need a bit more sand , but we should not have visited so many
Great Course but Slow Play
The condition and layout of this course are excellent with some picturesque and challenging holes that really need to be thought through. The only downside was it took 4 and a half hours to get around 18 holes as a two ball with lots of waiting between shots.
Bank holiday golf day
The course was in excellent condition and a pleasure to play.
The bunkers could have done with some more sand but apart from that very good.
we had a 7:54 and 8am tee time and could not get breakfast before we went out, which was a shame. 8 hungry golfers !!!
Great course and lay out but Greens need work
Arrived for the first time to play Brentwood Golf Course. I live close by so easy to get to. It was quiet when we teed off at 4pm. Course layout is of a good standard. Makes you think about each shot with water hazards and bunkers placed strategically. Only disappointment was the greens. Very slow and bumpy.
Keep an eye on your ball, very easy to lose int he long grass.
I would recommend the course to anyone.
Great Value
Considering we have just finished the winter season, course conditions were very good. A lot of challenging pin positions made it a good game. Good amount of water hazards, ample amount of bunkers, (with rakes) always handy.. Only fault I could really give is some bunkers had quite a few stones!!!! Apart from that, hope we can get a deal for our East London School Keepers Golf Society (ELSKGS) next season. Overall very descent course.
