Windy conditions but course in great shape for the up-coming winter....

Like most courses the only let down are the bunkers.

But that’s the same for 99% of courses in Essex I’m afraid....

Layout of the course is great with some testing holes. Fairways are in good condition but bunkers could be a lot better. Greens are fairly fast but too many players are not repairing their pitch marks. Overall it could be better.

Really enjoyable course with lots of different holes that kept the whole 18 interesting. Some very pretty holes on the back 9 especially and a course that was largely in excellent condition.

Great course, challenging in places for an average golfer. Rough seemed to eat my balls on occasion. Lovely pro shop staff and local players/members all very kind to us visitors. Would recommend to others!

Great course that is well worth a visit very challenging. Nice to play a course that makes you think about most of your shots , rather than just up & down in a straight line. Several tiered greens which are always a challenge , will definitely be back .

Played at 3:12 on a Wednesday afternoon, as a two ball, course was quite soft underfoot hence buggys on the cart path only.fairways quite lush and soft.Greens receptive and running true if a little slow. General condition of the course is excellent. Staff in all areas helpful and friendly. We were behind two four balls so the round was a little slow but very enjoyable.

Really enjoyed the golf course a good test

Blossom from a nearby farm covered a few of the greens making it impossible to putt as the ball picked up the blossom as it travelled but not much could be done I suppose otherwise

A very challenging course off the white Tees, a bit long for the average golfer. However the course itself was in good condition and the members we talked to were very friendly. The staff in the club house were helpful and friendlt
