Poor Condition

A poor experience & I won’t be coming back. All that was missing was cement to add to the sand & stones on most of the fairways. The greens were in poor condition too & I paid £50 to play this gravel yard.

In short, not great & left very disappointed ☹️

Avoid at all costs.

5 and a half hours. Too many people on the course. We rang up the club house to come out and martial the slow play, to which nobody did. Not worth £40 twilight fee let alone the £50 standard fee. Won’t be playing again as the course was not kept or looked after at all. Real shame.

New course designed by some geezer down the pub

New Course layout is terrible blind t shots. Stood in fairway on hole 5 and others and nearly getting hit from behind no bells. Won't be long until someone gets a ball in the back of the head. T boxes are at weird angles and the greens have weeds growing through clearly a cheap botch it job.

Kids playing spending 10 minutes looking for balls . Won't be coming back here better course for less money..

Course in terrible condition

Course was in horrendous condition. As a brand new course, I wonder what was actually done to the course because I have seen council courses in much better shape. The only good thing about this place is the driving range

Perfect weather

Perfect weather for an imperfect course

Really looking forward to seeing the development progress but was surprised to pay a higher green fee just because we were a two ball

We played at 1.58 deliberately because morning users should have returned buggies by then but sadly none were available

Composite course contained no par fives & scorecards hadn't been updated to reflect the composite distances. My GPS distance watch therefore didn't work either.

As the tee direction marking was so bad we struggled to keep up with the group in front & felt pressured from behind. We eventually played 16 holes as simply couldn't find the other two.

Please consider full refund

Wait until it’s fully open

This was the 1st time back at wexham for a few years! I was not aware that the new course has still not opened so when I booked I got a good deal at £20! I wasn’t aware there was lots of temporary holes and temp greens which are in poor condition! I didn’t go into clubhouse as was running late and my playing partner went in to get the cards etc and nothing was said about it not being fully open! So was very disappointed. Wexham used to be a lovely course so not sure why they have tried to redesign it

Only play if last resort

There is obviously a lot of work being done to the course , possibly the worst course I’ve played , to have drain lines going through a green wow , one of the tee box mats was curled up more than a cheesy quaver , only paid 19 pounds so if you pay 19 pound you get a 19 pound course , won’t be returning very very poor

Not very good value for money

I appreciate that the new course will open in April, the current 18 hole course is in very bad shape. And to charge the green fees they do for having temporary tee boxes on every hole, patchy greens, and on some holes overgrown greens, numerous GUR areas...it's not very good value at all. Hopefully the new course is exceptional when it opens.

1st time playing this course (blue)

1st time playing this course and in the winter.

Course was fairly good given the conditions, however greens were very patchy and bumpy and a lot of stones on them.

Tees need cleaning but coupled with that, players also need to pick up broken tees!

Next tee signs were confusing, we ended up playing the 18th instead of the 15th and had to ask directions !

I will come back and play this in good weather and rate again as I believe the course has promise,

Great little set up

Played here yesterday and really enjoyed the whole place. Yes the course needs a bit of care but is fantastic value.

I paired up with a couple of members and really enjoyed the round.

Not satisfactory - Maze

Played for the first time. It was like a maze, finding holes is a bit tricky. Greens were just ok. Staff was supportive. Got lost after 3rd hole and called at the reception to find the next hole. Overall didn’t enjoy much.

Good cheap course

Very good cheap course, course conditions where okay greens were a bit rough in some areas but for 17 pound I can’t argue. Finding every tee seemed to be a maze and not very clear, with other players on course having the same trouble.

The course is decent! Hard to give it 5 stars because I believe they are working on the course at the moment so some of the tee boxes etc aren’t in the greatest condition.

But we paid £17 each which is less than £1 a hole which I think is more than fair! I would play there again for sure.

A lot of the course is temporary and going through a lot of changes so it's had to give it a proper review.
