Wexham Park Golf Centre - Green Course

Three different groups of 8 children/parents in front of me and my friend. It appeared to be a birthday celebration, which is fine, but please:

a) let the rest of the paying public know so we can avoid those times when booking or when in reception.

b) tell large groups to wave through pairings or smaller groups.

Took thirty minutes to play two holes before walking off. Have contacted general manager but not heard anything back yet.

And the blue course has been ruined. The condition is beyond terrible. Never played a course as bad. Tee boxes are a disgrace, just dust and sand. Fairways are hardly distinguishable from the first cut. Greens from the original course are still ok but they’re not brilliant to say the least. Not sure what they’ve done in the last two years. Such a shame as the club house, range and mini golf are great. It’s like the main course is an afterthought / forgotten about. No idea what they’ve been doing after two years development. Stay away.

My son tried golf on holiday so bought a second hand set of clubs and first time in UK. They said each person needed their own bag but they loaned us a bag for Green course and otherwise relaxed on dress code for this 9 hole course. Not too complicated course and a good time was had going round it. If it was closer to us it would probably be our regular as very good junior membership system.

We thought we will have a quick 9 holes on Sunday and boy oh boy, quick was not on the menu. It took two of us 2h40 min to play 9 short holes.

They booked slots 6 minutes apart from each other and on a beginners course like that you should leave a bigger space.

It’s clear they are trying to make as much money as possible, without any thought to the customer.

No marshals at all.

There was one group of lads who did not have a scooby and held everyone up, nothing was done about it. People walked off as it took so long.

Great course to play on in any weather,always in great condition

Had a really ground 9 holes here. First round of the year and really enjoyed the course. The pro-shop staff were friendly and helpful as were the bar staff. The course was in excellent condition considering the winter we’ve had. The green course was perfect to begin playing again for the new season, wide fairways, minimal rough so quite forgiving. Nice to see some juniors being coached and lots of young players. It was quite busy as it was a Saturday, but being a shortish course it didn’t hold us up or spoil the round. Other players on the course played fairly quickly and it was a great experience overall. There’s also a lot of new development and course reconstruction happening on the 18 hole course, plus a fantastic new driving range. And exciting golf hub, highly recommended!

As an average golfer,playing for 22 years I love playing this 9 hole course, for what it is, it's properly maintained. Most 9 hole courses are sadly neglected for better championship 18 holes, but this course is proving popular as the main 18 hole course is undergoing a major restoration, which although you can play on it,the drainage system is poor at the moment so most people flock to the 9 hole course. Apart from a tight 8th hole and tricky dog leg on the 6th,its a joy to play.

Great course for all types of players from beginners to advanced . Staff very welcoming and other guests very polite.

Lovely course I have played here many times, however on this occasion there were a few groundskeepers on the course which I fully understand. But in a couple of the holes they did not fully move as we were playing them. Myself and friend I was playing with are not the best golfers so found this very off putting and were worrying we were going to maybe hit them. Aside from this it was a great day and the greens were beautiful.

2 or 3 holes where you can use the driver the rest is all mid-short irons. Flat and pretty straight forward, not bad for the price.

Very well maintained and layout. Good after play facilities bar etc
