Great Golf Course
First time playing Richings Park and will definitely be back. Really well laid out course, greens and majority of the fairways were absolutely immaculate, tee boxes could do with a little tidying but still early in the season and can easily forgive as the course played brilliantly. Well worth a visit and at 38 quid superb value for money.
Needs attention
A good course, fair challenge but it is looking a little unloved. Stoney bunkers are a let down. A few greens need attention as well. I would say it’s good rather than average, there are a lot worse out there but can’t overlook the poor bunkers. Surprised to see a dog on the course, fair play for allowing it presumably but, if you are letting your dog in the bunkers then rake them afterwards!!’
Hidden gem
Interesting course layout have long par 3 and short par 4. Green condition is good and bunkers are soft.
Great Course in good condition and a fantastic price
I thought the course was in excellent condition and the fairways and greens were well kept.
The clubhouse was great and the staff were very friendly and inviting.
The food and drink were great but it was a shame the bar was closed for a function and the bar in the barn was a bit busy for us to watch the Ryder Cup. However that won’t happen all the time and I’d highly recommend Richings Park
Well Layout reasonable challenging course
Course is in good condition with exception of quite a few tee boxes, which need some attention.
The course is quite challenging, with combination of some challenging tee shots & approaches to greens.
Weather was damp, and showery which added to challenge, but all in all course played well and was very enjoyable.
Nice course
Really enjoyed this course…nice and open. Didn’t get held up by anyone and the female worker in the pro shop was so helpful and friendly
So hot!
This was the hottest day of summer so far. Like most courses, the fairways were patchy and hard. The back 9 were fresher and perhaps more interesting and challenging. Whilst I did have a good round, it was not solely because off the yellow tees it is a little short. However, Riching is not without its challenges and the 19th bar was excellent, as was the grass and covered range.
Pleasant afternoon
Enjoyed a round on Fri. Weather baking hot. Hence fairways bone hard. Greens were excellent but T boxes very worn and dusty. Conditions considering we're pretty good and definitely play here again.
Friendly staff in shop and clubhouse. Thanks team.
1st time in 6 years
So I played this course in the local breakfast league finals and enjoyed it, so when I got a day off and my home course being closed due to a tournament I decided to try out this course again.
Despite the lack of recent rain the greens were in good condition, putted true, if a little slower than im used to.
Rest of the course was playing firm and fast with lots of run on the ball so scoring was flattering!
Guy in the well stocked pro shop was friendly and helpful.
