Datchet Golf Club

Course has taken a hammering from heat but Tee Boxes Bunkers and Greens are in great condition. Some of fairways have very deep cracks in them. Still a very enjoyable round.

Great value for 18 holes. Due to weather conditions this summer— the course is green. However, it was playable and a lot of roll for your shots. Easily walkable 18. Funky 7-9 and 16-18, but it worked out fine.

Overall the course is OK but the fairways are struggling in the heat with the grass being burnt and some fairways starting to crack. The greens are not very receptive but are mostly in decent condition given the dry weather.

All the above should be taken into account via the price for 18 which I can't find cheaper in the area. the staff are great and members are welcoming. Would definitely recommend

I found this course very disappointing. Golf now indicate 18 hole on arrival I found 9 hole course that has 2 numbers per hole ie 1/10, 2/11 etc

The course not kept well, grass is scorch and dry and very high. Clearly it is only watered when it rains.

The bar and restaurant is in good order however the PRO SHOP appears to be a Garden Shed and unattended at the time I attempted to check in.

If you are serious about Golf then I doubt you will enjoy this course.

Super 9 hole course and a real challenge.

The holes vary in length with different tee boxes for each 9 and fairways are tree lined and tight in places making the course a great challenge.

We paid £21 for our round and thoroughly enjoyed the course. The greens were very good and this course is definitely one we will play again!

A great course with 9 holes but different tee positions to change things up. The course layout can be challenging for beginners because of some long holes but would definitely recommend

Absolutely loved it. Played with my son and it was half way between us. We will return. Great value. Welcomed. Great bar and beer after. Course recovering from maintenance schedule but that has to be done and it was in good condition overall. Rough is very tough. Picturesque and don’t be put off with 9 greens and 16 different tees. It doesn’t matter. Many thanks to all.

The course has lots of nice scenery and views. However, the condition of the greens was really disappointing. I am not sure if they’ve been vandalised or the club is underfunded but they were bad! Staff lovely and layout ok bar a couple of holes. Pace of play could’ve been better.

I liked the course and will go back there when it's dried out, but after all the recent rain, some of the fairways were quite muddy. It needs a few ponds and streams for more interest and drainage.

The greens however were ok considering how much rain we've had
