Great value for money
Fantastic value for money, course in fantastic condition, had certainly benefitted from this years rainfall as oppose to when I played here last year. Would highly recommend!
Tricky Start
It was a surprising start! No sooner had I walked into the shop to check on the agreed tee off time than I was told that my two ball had suddenly become a 4 ball! In all the years of using Golf Now and previously Tee Off Times this had never happened! It was doubly surprising in these Covid times to unexpectedly to be asked to play with two guys from the Midlands! The course offered us no alternative! Disappointing! Flexibility was sadly missing! We played the first hole together then played separately!
The Course was very good! Greens brilliant! But a poor welcome was a disappointment! I hope to play the course again but this kind of issue needs to be sorted out or it will put people off!

Nice course
I haven't played much in the south west. But I enjoyed Weymouth, it's a lovely course with convenient toilets half way round. Greens were fast and the right amount of challenging .
I didn't use the clubhouse amenities so I can't comment on those but the grounds seemed very well looked after.
Holiday golf
Really enjoyed the course with some nicely laid out holes and generally very good greens
Would happily play again when visiting Dorset in future
Very disappointing
I have travelled from the north west for a 7 night stay in Dorset.
I was looking forward to playing this course as on the course drone flyover it looks great.
I looked over the fence when I arrived to see a beautiful green (18th)
Booked in at the pro shop, he said nothing regarding the condition of the course.
Played the 1st hole and half way along it I realised the flag was on a temporary green when I say temporary it was a hole in the fairway, I was disappointed but thought maybe it is only this hole, it was the first 8 holes ! A massive let down and even more frustrating that the staff at the club said nothing as I would have cancelled had I known.
The greens we did play on were great but the fairways are a mess all over the course and unfortunately on 8 holes this is what they expected us to putt on !
The weather was beautiful, it is September and the course has had less footfall than usual due to covid so to me there is absolutely no excuse for being on temp greens this time of year.

Nice course with some great downhill driving holes
Some interesting holes with good variety and dogleg holes. Nice, easily reachable par 3’s ( I would say that as I parred all 4 of them, very unusual for me!)
Good course for higher handicaps as only 5755 yards off the yellows
I like Weymouth but
i like Weymouth but at this present time the fairways are in such a bad condition. I live local and play twice aweek but wont be going back anytime soon paid £26 each for a 4.40 tee so not good value for money
Some challenging holes
Very dry and some fairways suffering. Greens excellent. Some very testing holes.
It was good
Good course, not a great welcome, played with two others who were great.
Course was closed
Unfortunately, on arrival, the shop and all buildings were closed, so made the assumption that the course was closed. There was no one around to check in or ask, so we decided to pay to play at another course. It appears that GolfNow prefer that customers don't contact them in cases where there is a problem as the website just shows the FAQ page when clicking on 'contact us' and the number advertised is no longer in use.
I have played at Weymouth before and would recommend the course....if they are open.
Nice Course
Not the longest but lots of tricky holes, tight fairways, doglegs etc. Some scary par 3s which mean you have to hit very straight over bushes and between trees.
A very enjoyable round.

How can you leave a review when you haven't even played the course? Also the golf club is closed new years day which is when your review was done. This would be the case at a lot of other golf clubs.
