About
Cold Spring Country Club is situated halfway between Springfield and Worcester. Opened in 2010 in an effort to bring world class golf to western Massachusetts, the club has since garnered a local following. The par-71 layout is unique in that it has six par 3s and five par 5s. There are also some par 4s in the 450-yard range. The 6,521-yard length indicated on the scorecard can be deceiving since it feels much longer when you're playing it. The golf course has plenty of variety, including dogleg lefts, doglegs rights, short holes, and long holes. Thanks to its mountaintop locale, Cold Spring C.C. offers stunning views that are as diverse as the holes. The vistas from the elevated tees and greens stretch to the Berkshires, Connecticut, and Vermont. From the golf course's highest tee box on the par-3 10th, you'll have a panoramic view of central Massachusetts.

It has 5 par 3's and a par4 thats 185yards up hill 60 ft. in elevation .
A thinking persons course. Not a walking course. Always a challenge I'll play it again.
Decent price, less than decent conditions
The staff at the bag drop, clubhouse and 19th hole were all fantastic. The greens were in good shape and rolled well. The bunkers were excellent. The first tee box had almost no grass, almost bare. The rough was full of clover and wild flowers. The fairways were like closely mown rough. . Overall conditions were decent. Lots of poison ivy to look out for on the edges of play.
Very Nice Course
Played here last week with the Safari Club. Course was in very good condition. although, some of he tee boxes were a little rough, because there are no sprinklers on them. Staff was well organized and friendly. Enjoyable day!
Safari Club Adventure...
Cold Springs Country Club is unique in that it has 6 par 3’s... Not that they are easy but because they are so varied and different... this course is short by most standards but plays long on the par 5’s ... the greens are fast and are undulating..
The course had someone greet us and get our clubs to the appropriate cart.. this is a nice feature and the staff was very friendly...
The Safari Club enjoyed the day... it is a pretty good value for your dollar!

Great day once again at Cold Springs
Not one negative thing to say about Cold Springs, The minute I arrived I felt welcomed, a cart pulled up to me to grab my bag and bring it to my assigned cart, love that! No lines when checking in 2 men at the counter, great service!! The course was in great shape, layout is not boring and the views there are beautiful from several holes. We had a blast! Looking forward to next year.
Worth a Visit
Played the course today (6/6) with the Safari Club and had an enjoyable time. Greens and fairways were in great condition with the greens putting true. T-boxes were passable. The staff as always was friendly and helpful.

Teed off just after noon. No hold ups. Nice layout and scenery. Course in excellent shape. Will be back.

First time playing this course. Very challenging course - a little hill in spots. Nice dog legs. Greens are in excellent shape.

Great course. Super staff who grab your bag on arrival, check in with you at the turn. Excellent shape considering the worst April in years.

Course Experience
Every time I’ve played Cold Spring Country Club I’ve had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. From the first moment I arrived to the last putt, the staff at the course go above and beyond the expectations. Throw in a challenging course and sunny day, it doesn’t get much better than Cold Spring Country Club.
One of my favorite wmass courses
Fun, challenging course. #2 is in my head though. Like all holes here, you've got some work to do if you don't hit the fairways. It's a blind shot off the tee. It's the only blind tee shot though. The only other blind shot is #8 where your 2 or 3 shot on to the green is to the left and up a hill. Just stay on the fairway. When you're done playing, HIGHLY recommend the restaurant. Just wear a bib!!!
