Golfer Reviews
Budget golf at its best
Good layout provides a variety of shots and challenges. Greens well maintained and rolled well. Fairways were average yet playable. Tee areas needed some help but with a little effort a good spot could be found. Great practice facility with a range, chipping and putting green. Easy on the wallet especially with the lower rates available at specified times each day.
Great Value
Great course when trying to watch your budget. Fun layout.
Bang for buck, but slow play
I’m not a serious golfer, got to play 18 less than $20 on Father’s Day before noon. So wasn’t expecting sawgrass. The fairways were better than others in Jax. Greens were also decent, can’t say that about some other course charging double or triple. Only 9 holes but nice to go around again and see if you can beat your previous holes. Unfortunately, that is this facilities downfall. Between golfers coming in for a tee time and the ones finishing the first 9, the first hole gets pretty backed up and causes slow play through the first few holes if not more depending on how many are in each group. I’m assuming this is a common thing on the weekends, might have been because I was there on Father’s Day but it wasn’t extremely packed and still had slow pace. They stack the tee times as a normal course would but don’t account for those finishing the front 9. Not bad for the price though it’s a good course for less than an hour at top golf.
Course looked Great!
Course was in great shape! Greens were spotless and maintained. Rate of play was real slow but I only payed 15$ on a special so why complain. It’s a 9 hole course but a very challenging one. Overall between conditions of the course and the price, it’s 5 stars from me.
Value
Great course when on a budget to keep the swing going. (College & high school golfers especially)
830 tee time didn’t get on #1 tee box till 945 however people with later tee times were given carts before us and teed off before us. Oh and someone checked in under my reservation. Kind of a joke.
This course is very good for the cost
Greens were good but the fairways need some work. I enjoyed playing this course
Great family course
I play here more than I should. But I love the fact that I can take my kids and spouse, and I do t feel rushed to play at all. The bridge that goes over the railroad tracks makes this course pretty sweet. If your a beginner, or just a casual player, this course is for you.
Great practice course
I have enjoyed going to this fine nine hole facility. I have to say that I was impressed with the quality of the greens. They are a bit slow but they rolled pretty good. Holes 2,3, and 6 are good holes that challenge any golfer by hitting a good tee shot and approach. Keep up the good work.
