Bent Creek Golf Course
About
Since the opening of Bent Creek Golf Course in 1989, the 6,420-yard, par-71 course has provided a challenging golf experience for residents of Northeast Florida and visitors alike.
Crafted by renowned architect Bobby Weed with consulting services by Mark McCumber, Bent Creek's meandering terrain takes golfers through a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, towering pines and alongside creeks and swales. The championship layout boasts Bermuda grass greens, plush fairways and a state-of-the-art lighted practice facility - home of the Bent Creek Golf Academy.
From the back tees, Bent Creek carries a rating of 71.6 and a slope of 136. The challenge starts with the first hole, which measures 538 yards from the gold tees, just 20 yards short of No. 15, the longest hole on the golf course.

Nice Course
Great value for the money. Greens had sand on them but rolled pure. Tee boxes could use some attention but overall they were fine. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
I would recommend this to anyone.
Great course
We had an enjoyable round of golf. Course in very nice condition. Will definitely visit again if in Jacksonville again.
Great course with a good selection of holes
Played here a few times, hit and miss with pace of play but usually very slow, especially on the backside as folk for some reason go back to the clubhouse after nine, then come back out.
They definitely need a ranger..we had a four ball of drunk cops holding everyone up,which turned nasty at the end as 4 groups waited for them on the last 5 holes and they couldn’t care less..arrogant!
Perfect Day
Started awesome in the pro shop, with the ranger on course, and finished with the bev cart.
2/7/2026 Bent Creek Golf Outing
Bent Creek continues to provide a great golf experience. As one can expect when providing the right product at the right price, it is very popular. The only hiccups were the availability of carts at tee time which led to a delay. Once on the course, everything went well.
First time playing the course
Conditions were pretty good this time of year. Amazing practice facilities. Will play here again
Perfect weather and a really nice course
Haven't played this course in years but always liked it. Got rsvp online very easy. Showed up and 3 people behind counter (shift change?) told me new details about course and practice area. Got warmup bucket and went to range. Nice condition and very well marked. Their free app helped with target selection and distance. Chipping area had lots of balls and is nice way to start. Putting green had sand so I went to bunker area green and warmed the putter up. Nice to have choices. Got to first tee and off I went. 74 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. Perfect. Course was as I remembered it. Very nice condition. Like everywhere else all the ponds are low because it hasn't rained. The greens were fast and true. Met up with another "single" at 11 and played the rest of the way in. Greens, bunkers, fairways, and tees were in very good shape. I'm already looking forward to playing here again. Have to say that I used their app for scoring and GPS and it worked flawlessly. Checked distances with my laser and found they always checked out. Kudos to the staff and course workers!
Thumbs up
Great course conditions for the winter season. Greens rolled nice.
Great Day on the course
The course was in great shape, staff was very friendly and welcoming. The pace of play was a little slower than expected. Overall had a great time on the course.
Good course slow pace
Love this course. The fairway was decent and the green and layout is pretty challenging. However the pace of play can be very slow. The starter need to check of people’s pace of play since some people doesn’t know how to keep up with the group in front of them. We had to skip one hole due tot hat. Other than that it is a good golf course.
Great course for money
Nice course for the price - paid $30 on Golf Now for 18 with cart - very nice layout with a slow pace of play
SLOW!!!!!
This place has a serious pace of play issue. When it was just before my tee time the starter was no where to be found leaving groups to just go out whenever. On most holes there were 4 groups. Two on the tee box, one in the fairway and one on the green. This will be the last time I play here for a while. My suggestion is to play Fleming Island instead as it’s much better managed. Plus the greens are fantastic.
