Bent Creek Golf Course
About
Since the opening of Bent Creek Golf Course in 1989, the 6,420-yard, par-71 course has provided a challenging golf experience for residents of Northeast Florida and visitors alike.
Crafted by renowned architect Bobby Weed with consulting services by Mark McCumber, Bent Creek's meandering terrain takes golfers through a certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, towering pines and alongside creeks and swales. The championship layout boasts Bermuda grass greens, plush fairways and a state-of-the-art lighted practice facility - home of the Bent Creek Golf Academy.
From the back tees, Bent Creek carries a rating of 71.6 and a slope of 136. The challenge starts with the first hole, which measures 538 yards from the gold tees, just 20 yards short of No. 15, the longest hole on the golf course.

Great Value!
Course was in great condition. Firm and healthy greens and fairways. A couple of tee boxes need some attention but otherwise one of the best deals in Jax.
Course has great features
The layout of the course was outstanding. The fairways and bunkers were normal easy to play.
Must Get a Ranger Patrolling This Course
One group brought the course to its knees. This is not the first time, and the problem could be easily improved by having someone’ manage pace of play. Layout and conditions are good.
enforce pace of play
As long as you don't enforce pace of play and let golfers skip around to different tee boxes this is the review I will keep giving. At this point the only reason I keep playing here is because my golf buddy isn't on GolfNow so I get golf money and points off of him and he loves this course and its close to my house and job.
Good Conditions
Team Bent Creek continues to do an excellent job keeping the course in great condition
Great course
It was a hot week so not many people out past noon. Went out right before noon and had the course to ourselves. Course was in great shape. Greens were very challenging. Always a pleasure playing bent creek
Mediocre at best
Tee boxes are not well maintained. Driving range is unkept, with minimal grass. The course layout is nice, with challenging flag positions. Greens were slow and bumpy. Overall, I wouldn’t consider playing here again.
MARSHAL PLEASE
I would rate this course higher if they would hire a marshal that would enforce the pace of play and make slower golfers let faster golfers play through. Golfers jumping around to different holes, and 3-4 groups on tee box or hole.
marshall please
I would rate this course higher if you would hire a marshal that will enforce the pace of play and make slower golfers let faster golfers play through. You have golfers jumping around to different holes. Three to four groups on one hole.
Courses in great condition lots of shade off the fairway greens and great shape running about 8 and 1/2 not too fast you can shoot at the pins great layout I play there a lot
They Need Rangers!!!!!
They have Rangers but! They don’t at the same time because they will never ever ever ever ever enforce pace of play. The cart girls do a better job at trying to enforce pace of play. When when they see groups of four at the tee box waiting and then another group of four pulls up behind them all because the group in front of us are taking their sweet time wow trying to teach a lesson at the same time.
Love the course the staff is great, but they really need to enforce pace a play. Or at least have the range come out and say hey let these guys go in front of you because they’re playing way faster.
Get a real Marshall
This is the best course on this side of town. Only one major problem, Marshall don't enforce pace of play! You have people skipping holes and jumping in front of you. People playing and trying to give new golfers lessons while on the course! three to four groups on one hole. A round that should only take 3-3.5 hours take 4.5-5 hours to play.
