This course was a cow pasture. Unless is $20 don’t bother

The tee position on the first par five is just plain stupid. I’m an average golfer. We were all in the trees or the water. Greens were patchwork. They have a wonderful course that needs attention from a professional. Won’t be back anytime soon. It’s a shame.

Course was in better condition than 2 weeks ago.. some greens were spotty. Mostly there was very little sign of water damage.

Could be the best layout in all of Jax if actually maintained, but it’s a dump.

Could be a fun course but the entire course is in very bad shape. From the tee boxes to the greens the course is filled with potholes and dirt patches.

There are way too many issues to list.

Greens are patchy and rough. Fairways are patchy and soil is hard.

Bunkers…might as well be hitting concrete.

Except for 2 greens the greens were very true and playable. Fairways are still very barren but the uniqueness of the course makes it a pleasant round.

I would recommend anybody who reads this review and is thinking about playing this course, do not play. There isn’t a single green or fairway that’s not burnt out and half dirt or sand. The guy in the pro shop rushed me out to play 30 minutes before my tee time, because the eighth grade golf team was going out later. Told me not to chip or put and wouldn’t sell me a range bucket, said I had to pack my stuff and head out to hole one. No cart girl at this place, and only one bathroom on the back nine. There were several times I spent five minutes looking for my ball after I hit it in the fairway, or 5 to 10 feet off the fairway/fringe. Don’t go here, it’s worth it to play anywhere else for $10-$20 more in the area.

Course conditions are pretty bad, tall grass in the fairways and some rough/dirt patches in the fairways, greens need a lot of work, dirt patches. Course has a lot of potential if it gets proper maintenance. Staff was nice though.

I have played this course in the past and hadn’t played it in almost a year. The course is in horrendous condition. Fairways in bad condition. Rough has not been cut and full of weeds. The greens have been lost and have dirt patches. This course should NOT be on Golf Now. I booked based on rating stars, those are not accurate. I should be refunded based on false advertising.

The cost was reasonable because it reflects the courses condition. Tee boxes were poor. Overall fairways were choppy and burnt. The greens need a complete overhaul. One green was shut off with no mention from desk staff.

This course would be a very challenging and fun course. Unfortunately, I would not play it again as it is in horrible condition. All playing surfaces are bad. Tees, fairways and greens.

Always thought the course had a fun layout, but the conditions everywhere, were horrible. I will not return.

Greens were horrible, 50% of every green has dead spots or sand. Fairways were choppy, with sand and just dry.
