Esplanade Golf and Country Club of Naples

A friend and I played Esplande on April,1 for the first time. We throughly enjoyed the course. We will definitely return to play here again.

Very good condition and fun to play. Small greens but accessible. Good value at $50 to $70.
Facilities are still being finished .

I got to the course with 15 minutes after paying the fees. I got to the range and was hustled off to the tee 10 minutes early. I've never played a 4-1/2 hour round because of me but the Marshall pushed us around on the front to the point of making me want to
Quit and get my money back. Finished front in 2 hours exactly. Finished the round in 4:15. Not bad but angry about the time when I know the difference in slow play and not. If I play there again I will refuse to tee off early andi will tell them I won't respond to hassle tactics on the front

My experience playing this course was colored by the attitude of the on course ranger. It seems this guy had to say something. We were a foursome that went off before 8:00 am. There was a twosome in front of us. After 10 holes that took us just over 2 hours to play he told us that we should step up the pace because we were two holes behind. We mentioned that we were 4 and they were 2. Also the threesome behind us was over a hole away. He could not leave it at that and wanted to argue about pace of play. We finished in 4hr 9mins. We payed 120.00 each for that type of harassment. Would never play there if it was free.

Four of us played Espanada. We were very disappointed with the condition of the course. The front nine was fine but the back nine needs more time. The greens were in terrible condition. There were track marks on many of the greens so putts went astray. This is a fairly new course in a community that is just being developed. We paid a lot for what we got. I would give this course time. Maybe next year!

Strongly recommend this course as the greens and fairways are in great shape.

Facilities are still being built so the 19th hole is small and rest rooms in the temporary clubhouse and the course itself are in progress. Staff works hard to make the experience excellent - friendly service, free water and range balls, etc. Course itself is in excellent shape. Greens a little slow but I expected that for winter (yes even in Naples) golf on a relatively new course. Water not much in play from the silver tees. We had a great day and will make it a regular stop as long as the public is allowed on.

Nice new course. Needs to grow in a bit. The back nine is very spread out. Would recommend to anyone. Price point was good for this time of year.

This community is under development so although the course is fairly nice and in good shape, the view isn't very scenic overall.
The biggest issues I noted were lack of restrioom facilities on back nine and poor signage overall. If you are not familiar with course, it's often difficult to get around.
Fix these, build up pro shop and course will eventually be pretty good.

Course has been built in a gated community but the community is far from finished so there is plenty of wide open space and much home construction to be still completed. Golf holes are quite a distance between each other so walking is out of the question.. COndition of course is very good ... not superb. Lots of water and sand (traps are good) and fairways are generous.

Slow play. Rangers not visible or speeding play.greens tricky. Course condition good but design is pedestrian.not worth $119 vs other available courses.

I am so glad I played it!!! Nice course, wide open fairways, as challenging as you want to make it. New track that needs to grow into itself and mature, but very nice at this stage. Play it if you can, rate was fair.

Temporary clubhouse & bar, basic pro shop in same, should be very nice when complete. The staff was great!

This course is new.........placed in a new development with construction going on all over the place.......Poor location on a flat piece of land with no nature......
Rather boring layout....... poor par 3 holes.
Good greens and okay fairways......A fair price would be around 25 dollars.......and even then i would not come back the next 20 years.......at that time maybe the trees would be a little bit up.

Beautiful Naples golf course. Just built in the past 2-3 years. May go private in 3 - 5 years when the homes sell out.

Nice tract and was in excellent shape. Price was 120 but in this area your choices are limited. I would rather pay more to play a nice course. I would recommend play before it goes private!

Proshop/Clubhouse is a temporary facility now. Light snacks, sandwiches & drinks available.

New course. Fairways in great shape. Rolling greens. Lots of sand . New homes being built around course on front 9 . Back 9 is like you were on the moon . Would play again and I do recommend it .

Played the course when it opened last March and you can see the improvements a year later. Fairways and greens appear to have been painted green, works for me. Played from 6000 yards and with a blustery day made it the right distance. Still no GPS measurements for my device, no one seemed to know why. Generous fairways, deceiving breaks in the greens. Some long drives between holes where you drive by land under development. Enjoyed the layout, the various T lengths make it good for all handicappers.

Beautiful golf course and an outstanding value for the money,

A well designed course that is fairly new and not yet fully mature, but very playable. The back nine had almost no houses on it yet, but it does run through a construction site. The fairways and greens are in good condition for such a new course.
