Esplanade Golf and Country Club of Naples

Played this course for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The development is completely bare with construction going on everywhere but outside of that, as young as the course is, it was fun to play. A lot of dogleg holes and the greens all have many undulations. Because the course is so young, the terrain is firm and the greens are stiff but this course will only get better with age. They have done a great job considering they dont even have a clubhouse or any permanent facilities. Would like to play this again in about a year but you recommend it for all to try and new course in town.

For this course being as new as it is it plays better than one would think. I think when it matures it will be a very nice course.

Played it for the first time , and loved it. The cours provided a good challange yet played fast. The greens were exceptional for a club only open a month.This can only get better. Very friendly and helpful staff. looking forward to coming back for another round. Just to explain the low score for food , the pro shop is in a tent. There is alot of construction yet to be done , but don't let that stop you from playing this jem

Potentially this will be a very nice course in a year or two since it is new. It is it not as challenging as other courses in the area, but glad I played it.

Great new course and very playable to anyone .Lots of room to push or pull a little with any of your shots .Sand traps are placed well and water is everywhere but only comes into play on a few holes
Greens are not real receptive being so new but they are great and true with some subtleties .Have already booked my next play
FYI...no clubhouse

Played as a foursome in 3:50 min. Course was fair but a challenge at times in a year or two it will be a top 20 course in Naples. We would play it again. And the greens were large and the ball ran true to hole a bit slow in the AM hours. A great addition to Naples .

Very nice layout, well paced, long distances between holes which helps to keep a smooth pace. No relief on sunny days though. Biggest negative which I am sure they will address.... there is no layout of each hole on the scorecard and at each tee. Could use GPS on the carts. Sometimes difficult to figure conture of course. First hole was a problem until starter instructed us. Need water stations on the course, but I am sure that will come in time. Overall all taking into consideration that it is a new course, we enjoyed it.

give it a year to mature and it will be one of the best in the area. user friendly.

For a course that has been open for about 2 weeks I was pleasantly surprised! The fairways and greens were in very good condition and I really liked the layout of the course. I am looking forward to my next trip to Naples so that I can play this course again.

Had three buddies in from out of town. They fell in love with this golf course. Plenty of room off of the tee, and receptive greens.

The day we played was windy 15 - 20 mph. The landing areas are generous and wide fairways made the course very playable in the wind. From tee to green the course is in excellent shape. No GPS available yet but enough marked sprinkler heads to get yardage . Could not find markers on the par 3 tee boxes. Plenty of Tee box options for player level. The challenge here starts on the greens. Getting on in regulation was easier than 2 putting these greens! The practice facilities are excellent, chipping area with bunkers, driving range and putting greens are staged by the starter. No clubhouse yet. The starter and staff are very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed playing here.

For just being open for two weeks and only 1 year since completion, this is a great course. Enjoyable layout with fair challenges. Greens are very undulating which adds to the challenge. Ample fairways but the primary challenge is the approach into the green.

....... Shot my best round ever at this spectacular new course in north Naples. Although there is currently no clubhouse or facilities in place as this property is brand new, all signs indicate that this will be one of Naples premier golf courses. Look forward to playing again in the future.

wide open fairways with plenty of room to miss. nice resort style course. would compare the difficulty, in the naples area, to either panther run or lely mustang. there are no facilities/amenities yet as the entire community is under construction.

Course is in great shape for being open 10 day. Greens in good shape and yardages well marked.

I thought for a new course it was in pretty good shape. Beautiful plantings. Some tee boxes are far from others.

This course lives up to it's name, the wind was definitely a factor the day we played. I was very impressed with the course layout, the greens were consistent, undulating and a bit tricky, what fun! Definitely put this on your bucket list.

This course is awesome for the price. The conditions were great, plush fairways, well maintained bunkers and greens that roll true. First off, it is very new (it was open just 9 days when we played), so not a lot of divots and not a lot of ball marks on the greens. Time will tell if that changes, as the course gets more play. My only complaint of the course is that the greens are firm, so expect some roll when you hit the green (hit short of your target). As far as facilities, the clubhouse is a tent at this point, but they do have a beverage cart that we saw 3-4 times in our 18 hole, 4 hour round.
This is a definite stop for my buddies and me on our next golf trip to Naples!

Have played a ot of courses in area and this one ranks right at the top. Great layout with great conditions!
The course has just opened so food, drink and bathroom facilities were almost non-existent! I am sure they will be fixed in the near future and be just as superb as the course.
