Great new venue
Played it the 4th day it was open, so it's brand new. No pro shop, just a tent with a cash register and a trailer with bathrooms. Conditions are excellent; tough from the longer tees, and straightforward from shorter tees. Similar to the terrific Heritage Bay course just down the road - very playable for beginners with wide fairways, but lots of challenge on the undulating greens with trouble for longer hitters approaching from farther out (assuming you're playing the 2 longest of the 5 tee options). Greatly enjoyed it, and will be back many times.
great promise
Wide open fairways. A few blind holes would make you change next round. Greens were quick and hard (no ball marks as they are very young). Distances were a challenge as Garmin does not have the course yet. Bring a range finder. Early stage golf course and club but will be a fun course (even more so). Very limited facilities so come prepared. Floating range was good. Not suitable for walking at all and never will be.
Severe greens
Tee to green this course is well done, however, the greens are extremely undulating providing few fair pin placement options. The greens make scoring very difficult. The new bunkers are very soft.
Due to new construction the fairways play firm and fast. Pace of play is slow (4 3/4 hours) considering the landing areas off the tees are liberal.
Overall this new course is expensive at $85 plus tax.
Greens willl make (or break) this course
Brand new course with conditions you would expect for the first week of play. Plenty of room for your tee ball with wide fairways. The challenge begins with the greens and the areas surrounding them. Once the course matures and they cut the greens low the putting will be nearly impossible with the amount of undulations.
New Track - Must See
Brand new community yet the golf course is ready to play. They are still building the clubhouse, other facilities, but for being open a week - Course was in great shape and once it matures it can only get better. Challenging layout tee to green, rough is forgiving, greens are fast and undulated, yet roll true. If you approach a short and wide par 4, get ready for the slopes on green to bite you.
The course has great greens
Wide fairways and very playable-----the course's has beautifully designed greens and those greens are what makes it hard to take advantage of a good tee shot. The architect is to be congratulated for the green designs.
New course - very nice
The course just opened the week before we played there. Condition of the course was very good and very playable for a brand new course. Good selection of tees. There were not facilities - golf only, but that will change as they develop. Layout was excellent (no goofy holes). As the course matures, it will be very, very nice.
Good value - nice course - some rough edges
This course just opened (about 6 days ago). It's in a "to be built" housing estate. Except for some model homes there is no house construction in progress yet. Everything beyond the golf course perimeter looks like a war zone. That said, this is a nice golf course. The fairways and tees are in good shape, greens are good and quite difficult, traps are excellent. The course is set up for a fast pace of play.
The facilities are very sparse. The pro shop is an open tent and the bathroom facilities are portable. There is no restaurant. However, a good driving range and putting facility are offered and there's a beverage cart operating on the course. Everyone was friendly and helpful.
Landscaping and planting on the course border are just finished and quite nice.
If you can overlook the rough edges there is a good round of golf to be had here. I had a bit of concern about blowing sand and stuff from the adjacent building site but there was none when I was there (on a quite windy day). It could still happen
I'll be back soon.
Esplanade is a winner
Great new course. Greens are new and therefore a little slow
Nice course good condtions
Although in a new development the course is very nice. It was very windy on the second nine so we had a bit of a sand storm. But the same happened to us at the beach that afternoon!
Great value for the money
New Course
The course was open for only 4 days prior to our play so the greens were firm. Overall condition was very good for a new course. Traps have very loose sand in them due to newness. Easy to get a plugged ball.
The course is pretty wide open and few if any forced carries over water. Plenty of water on sides of fairways.
On the way to WOW!!
this course is in grat shape for something as new as it is. they do need to buy rakes for many of the traps, but otherwise the level of the construction on the surrounding land was a distraction, and the lack of a clubhouse and pro shop were a surprise, but the golf was GREAT!!!
I'll be back
Only first week of play . Clubhouse and facilities not ready yet.
This is a great layout
We played this course in its first few day. The conditions, from tee boxes, fairways to greens were absolutely top notch. I would comare it somewhat to Panther Run , but more challenging and a better layout. Wider fairways and landing area than many local course. Greens very firm, fast and in wonderful condtion
For Naples this time of year the morning fee of $85 is a great value.. Bag staff and pros were very accomodating.
I intend to play this course a lot.

New course excellent condition
Course only open 3-4 days. Thought course was excellent condition. Greens tricky and slower then I like. Back 9 harder than front. Some interesting holes. Would play again and try gold tees played silver 1st time
Worth the $$$
Course has only been in play for 3 days. Staff great
and just getting their feet wet. Development very
early in the construction stages. Paired up with 3
others and had a great experience. Course easy
for the most part off the tees and well bunkered
with lots of water all around. Greens had been top-
dressed but overall a pleasure to play. In a few years
should be a real good one once it matures.
Good Experience
Brand new course that just opened a few days earlier. All the staff were very friendly, although you could tell that everyone was just starting out with new positions. Practice facilities include a water range, two chipping/pitching areas and a putting green. Chipping/pitching areas had no pins/holes which made it less enjoyable. Overall the course had a reasonably nice feel to it, even though its surrounded by a new residential subdivision that has not yet been built but has been cleared. We played from the second to back tees which tested our distance on a number of holes. There is water surrounding most holes, which the sides sloped away from the fairway. I lost more balls than usual but I think that next time around I will have a better feel of where to play my shots. I look forward to playing again!
New Course
Excellent layout, conditions for a brand new course is excellent also. Only a few greens are still a little firm and harder to hold but with the right shot there is no problem holding them. Bonus is that there are no homes on the course right now except for the model homes that you see on two holes. Staff was very courteous and provided great service.
Great condition for a brand new course
I was pleasantly surprised at the condition of this brand new course. The greens rolled moderately fast and true. The bunkers were superb and the fairways and approaches were excellent. The course is very user friendly and the degree of difficulty depends on the tee you choose to play. There is a good balance of length to the golf holes and the par three holes are the most challenging.
