Champions Gate is a must play if one wants a great layout in super condition.

This is the best course in championsgate! Course is always an amazing shape, and drains like a champ, so no concerns about playing after some rain

Hey there, fellow golf nuts! I recently hit the links at Champions Gate Country Club, and let me tell you, it was a wild ride. 🏌️‍♂️

Tough Stuff:

First things first, this course ain't for the faint-hearted. They've got massive bunkers, water everywhere, and greens that are big and crazy fast. While the greens themselves didn't have a lot of slope, they rolled pure and true.

Fairways and Rough:

The fairways were impressively manicured, providing that perfect surface for your shots. The rough was thick but not overly punishing, giving that great balance for an average golfer to improve their skills.

Rolling Hills:

I will say there's more slope on this course than you'd expect. Lots of shots downhill and even one par 5 that's a beast, nearly 600 yards uphill, and of course we played it into the wind.

Range Rant:

Now, here's a downside for me - the water driving range. There's something about hitting floating golf balls that just doesn't feel the same off the clubface. It's a minor complaint, but I will always point it out.

Hole Highlight:

Hole 15 is the real deal. (Picture #9) It's a downhill, drivable par 4 with water on the left and bunkers on the right and long. The design of this hole is truly wonderful, and, of course, I managed to hit the green but three-putted for the par. It's a hole that'll make you want to jump in the water with the alligator!

Bottom line, @championsgatecountryclub isn't a walk in the park. Not the best place for newbies, but if you're looking to get better, give it a shot. I would say one of the best-kept courses I've played in the area. I'm itching to go back and conquer those water hazards again. ⛳🏌️‍♀️

Course was in good shape but did not like the layout. Lots of distance between the holes and many houses on the course. I preferred playing other courses in the area especially for the price.

Another amazing day of golf at Championsgate . Conditions were excellent! Will most definitely golf here again.

Course was in great shape, pace of play was perfect. Had a great couple of golfers paired with for the first 9 and solo for the 2nd nine.

Nice day of golf on heavily played course. Decent condition. Water jug at turn was empty at 3:00 and water fountain at comfort station on back nine was broken. Hydration In Florida is mandatory.

We have played the Country Club a few times and highly recommend this course if in Davenport area. Was in our top 2 choices, layout and condition on our trip including Copperhead at Innisbrook. Played the other 2 at Championsgate (national and international) but the Country Club is our favorite. Greens, fairways, layout fabulous. A definite stop if in Davenport. Will not disappoint.

The course was in great condition. Greens were fast but rolled true. Tees to greens were in fantastic shape.

Great course when you can get it for under $70 which isn't always possible.

We played it in 3 hours after a group of 8 let us pass through on the back nine. We were only a twosome and they were playing in groups of 4. Must say they were quick on the front as we never caught up to them.

Course was very enjoyable to play. Lots of bunkers and some narrow places that provides quite the challenge.

Played this course two days after heavy rainfall.And you couldn’t tell it had rained .Fairways were dry greens were great.we got a hot deal so great value for money.
