ChampionsGate Country Club

Course in good shape and i like the layout,except for feeling crowded in by all the houses. The greens were ok but i had trouble with the speed they look slow but putt fast and the pin positions were very tough,overall enjoyable round.

From start to finish everyone is nice and helpful. It's just easy. Nothing is pretentious or made difficult for the guest

Drinks are good and good value. The course is challenging but won't beat you up. Greens always roll true and decent speed. I play here every year and this year is the best I've seen it.

Better tracks around Orlando (Southern Dunes) for the price. Would play again, if I could get on for <$80.

The course is very nice and was in great condition. It wasn’t very crowded the day that I played it. I have played the course many times and look forward to playing it again.

The course was in great condition however the weather didn't cooperate as almost Gail force winds were present during the whole round. The front was a joy as we zipped around with no golfers in front of us. However the back nine was completely different as we had to wait on each hole but still managed to finish our round before the rains started!

Nice greeting in the clubhouse and the starter was friendly. Each hole was wide but the greens were in good condition and challenging.

The distances between greens and the next tee were the longest I’ve ever experienced.

Fairways and greens are big, not much trouble at all. Greens are too slow for their size. Too many other options in Orlando that are better. This is a $70 course at best

We had a great round , pace was good and holes were challenging .

The course was in great shape. The price was great thanks to a Deal time. Enjoyed playing the course. Played with two others and the company was great. Pace of play was good. Played in 3.5 hours.

They kept telling me I was at the incorrect course

They ask me for my name. They check the tee times sheet and returns to say I'm not listed to play here. I pulled up my email confirmation and showed it to them. They check the tee times sheet and said. Yes you are listed right here. Gave me the cart key and said check with the starter. I never saw a starter. Just 3 guys standing around telling jokes. I teamed up with two Canadian guys and played together. I was explaining to them. How difficult my tee time was

They said they had the exact same experience. Something isn't right at this course

Champions Gate is a must play if one wants a great layout in super condition.

This is the best course in championsgate! Course is always an amazing shape, and drains like a champ, so no concerns about playing after some rain

Hey there, fellow golf nuts! I recently hit the links at Champions Gate Country Club, and let me tell you, it was a wild ride. 🏌️‍♂️

Tough Stuff:

First things first, this course ain't for the faint-hearted. They've got massive bunkers, water everywhere, and greens that are big and crazy fast. While the greens themselves didn't have a lot of slope, they rolled pure and true.

Fairways and Rough:

The fairways were impressively manicured, providing that perfect surface for your shots. The rough was thick but not overly punishing, giving that great balance for an average golfer to improve their skills.

Rolling Hills:

I will say there's more slope on this course than you'd expect. Lots of shots downhill and even one par 5 that's a beast, nearly 600 yards uphill, and of course we played it into the wind.

Range Rant:

Now, here's a downside for me - the water driving range. There's something about hitting floating golf balls that just doesn't feel the same off the clubface. It's a minor complaint, but I will always point it out.

Hole Highlight:

Hole 15 is the real deal. (Picture #9) It's a downhill, drivable par 4 with water on the left and bunkers on the right and long. The design of this hole is truly wonderful, and, of course, I managed to hit the green but three-putted for the par. It's a hole that'll make you want to jump in the water with the alligator!

Bottom line, @championsgatecountryclub isn't a walk in the park. Not the best place for newbies, but if you're looking to get better, give it a shot. I would say one of the best-kept courses I've played in the area. I'm itching to go back and conquer those water hazards again. ⛳🏌️‍♀️
