Undergoing Green Maintenance
Why take a booking when all the greens were undergoing maintenance? The temporary greens were just random holes dug into uneven fairways- some of them 100 yds from the green. This was a birthday treat for me from my son who had flown from NZ to surprise me for my birthday. We gave up after the 3rd as there was absolutely no enjoyment from trying to play an unknown course and with no distance references or greens to putt on.
The course offered a credit to return again but the moment was ruined and their reputation gone with it.
Shame on the club for accepting a booking knowing that the course wasn’t really playable.
Slow
Decent 9 hole course but the pace of play was mind numbingly slow. 2 and half hours for nine holes. I gave up after the twelfth

Nice nine hole course but the pace of play was dreadful. I came off after 12 holes
Little gem
I was very impressed with the course a gem probably over looked but very glad I tried it. The 1st 9 fine but the back 9 a nightmare very busy but it is the only trouble with a 9 hole course but worth waiting for. I would highly recommend a go.

Great little course, played 9 holes, 4 ball.

Nursery Course at best
Having played here 10+ years ago, I expected the course to have matured somewhat…sadly not..
The fairways are undulating, and with what appears to be no availability of watering on the fairways, it is a lottery on where your call ends. Therefore playing in the dry summer months, only really requires irons , so you don’t liose your balls to what would seemingly be good drives.
Greens were good, however poor etiquette observed when faster players are not allowed to ‘come through’, which was experienced on both front and back from
Different groups.
A decent(ish) course if you are just beginning on your golf journey…..experienced golfers need not play here.
2 stars only because it was under £18 for 18 holes via GolfNow….…had we paid more, we would have been 1star. Sorry Exminster GC, just being honest.

Really good little nine or 18.off two different set of tees.nice challenge and enjoyable course for any ability of golfer.definetely play again!
Great value
Overall, course was in good condition. Some greens had been treated and were quite gritty whereas others had not. The grass on the greens was a bit long so putting was very tricky. Apart from that, we had a great day. The course isn't long but there's a few par 3s over 200 yards so it's far from a stroll in the park!
A little gem
We were a bit sceptical after reading some of the reviews but really enjoyed it we were slowed up a bit on the 2nd nine but it gave us the chance to enjoy the views.
Nice course but…
There were far too many golfers on the course causing really bad pace of play. The number of par threes means bad bunching. At the clubhouse it says “bar snacks all day” but no food was available after our round.
