Ballymascanlon Golf Course

This course is definitely worth a visit. The course is set on beautiful surroundings and I was made to feel very welcome. Would definitely visit again

Consistently good course. Short but challenging.

Overall a great round for all levels of golfer.

We turned up early for our tee time, however the booking wasn’t showing and someone else had taken our tee time. The Pro however was very good and managed to get us out - I had the booking confirmation on the app. The course is short but very well managed and maintained; the greens were in brilliant condition. It is somewhere that having played once I would definitely want to go back to.

Lovely course. But booked a tee time and there was other people there teeing off the same time. So not sure what the point in booking a tee time is.

Somewhat concerned after paying through Golf Now I was asked to pay again at the golf club. Please confirm I was not charged through Golf Now otherwise I will have to contact my card provider to cancel one as I do not want to be charged twice for the same course on the same day.

Great course greens and fairways excellent condition definitely be back to play again

This was my 2nd time playing the course, it is a lovely course, greens were a bit patchy and ground was very soft but to be expected on winter months alot of the winter tee boxes had a lot of sand on them felt like u were playing from a bunker sometimes but again these things are to be expected during the winter. It's a lovely course with a lot of great holes I can't wait to play it again in summer months to see it at its best.

Tricky parkland course, was in good condition considering the time of year, would definitely return, staff very friendly.

I didn't get to play on the date I booked due to the storm that closed nearly every course in the country, but I have played this course before and it's an amazing course and great value for money and was excited to play it again but mother nature stopped that. I highly recommend this course to anyone. I can't wait to get down and play it again.

Ballymascanlon is without doubt my favourite course in County Louth. In fact in terms of overall value for money it's right up there with my favourite track in almost 32 years of golf in both South Africa and Ireland. Every hole has its own unique identity and has splendid scenery and layout. It's as beautiful as it is technically challenging and never disappoints!!!

Even though it rained for two days before I played the course I was pleasantly surprised at how good the condition of everything was, the greens were rolling true and at a decent speed despite the rain. The front 9 is more open than the back 9 which is very tight but overall a nice course suited to all levels of golfing ability

Love playing this course. An excellent well maintained golf course.. The Gentleman in the pro shop is a real credit and always makes me feel welcome and is very freandly and more than helpful. I have to say it’s my favourite out of all the courses I have played. Can’t wait to get playing it again soon.
