Ballymascanlon Golf Course

Even though it rained for two days before I played the course I was pleasantly surprised at how good the condition of everything was, the greens were rolling true and at a decent speed despite the rain. The front 9 is more open than the back 9 which is very tight but overall a nice course suited to all levels of golfing ability

Love playing this course. An excellent well maintained golf course.. The Gentleman in the pro shop is a real credit and always makes me feel welcome and is very freandly and more than helpful. I have to say it’s my favourite out of all the courses I have played. Can’t wait to get playing it again soon.

Perfect greens, Challenging fairways and a great layout. Some really picturesque holes too. Will be back.

Course was brilliant yesterday and to make it better the weather was very good too. Greens really fast and fairways cut good too. Some holes has water hazards and some holes would not suit golfers that tend too hit left to right as there are trees 50 foot out past the tee box. Overall great course and really easy to get too just off the motorway.

Course in excellent condition. For time of year fairways we’re 100% and so we’re the greens. Staff very friendly and made feel welcome. I would highly recommend this course. Will definitely look forward to playing this course again.

Really enjoyed playing. Had a lovely pint of Guinness afterwards. The place was buzzing with people.

Will be back to stay over

The course was challenging but not too difficult, course conditions were great for this time of year, weather was perfect and pace of round was great. Facilities were also fantastic in the hotel. We will be definitely back for an overnight stay and round of golf

Bally mac is a great course ,well maintained and great greens. Stunning holes like the 7th will make you lay up or play aggressive. Over all great course and fun

First time playing the course,given the weather have experienced recently I must say the course was in great condition. Good fairways, great greens. The course is not overly long, but there are some very tight tee shots and some fantastic approaches needed into small targets. We will most certainly be back to play many times this year. 5*

I've played Ballymascanlon a few times over the years....always good. On this occasion I thought I'd try it out as the weather has been so wet and this course is drier than most. This proved to be case and the round was very enjoyable all the more so because the course was empty and we got a free run at it. The greens were a tad slow as you would expect with all the rain. Only one hole disappointed because it was using a temporary green but other than that the course was great. Definitely be back...great day.
