The Club at Islas del Mar

This golf course really needs to have another nine holes to make it excellent.

Great challenging course 😁

This 9 hole course is in excellent condition. We originally thought it was an 18 hole course, but it was still a ton of fun to play nine holes as you could learn the course the first time around and then perfect at the second time around. The staff provides great customer service. Ask for Robert when getting checked in — he will take great care of you. He is the main reason we will be coming back to visit again!

Very challenging and then throw in HOW WINDY will it be? The course plays long!

The course is one of the best in the area. If you need to rent clubs here make sure you know they will almost charge you the same cost of the 18 holes just to rent. The last couple of times they also didn’t charge that much but I feel like they charge whatever they want to instead of having a set price. They also have really beaten down clubs to rent for like $30. I would recommend this course but bring your own clubs because if not you’ll pay $50-60 for the clubs!

Only thing that would.make.it.better, is to build out.the other nine holes.

I would give this place 5 stars if there a few things buttoned up. Our tee time was for 8am and when we got there we were there before any of the staff and didn’t tee off until close to 8:30ish. There is not really any club house to speak of. The driving range is insanely narrow. And the thing that I had no clue when booking 18 it would just be 9 holes 2x.

Only 9 holes but a Jack Nicklaus design. Probably the best 9 hole course I have played

We had a great time again. We mainly fold at Islas and always enjoy it. Highly recommended.

We always love it at Islas del Mar. I am only removing one star for this round because recently when I book the first tee time at 8am, the proshop is late opening and therefore it is closer to 8:15 before we actually tee off. The proshop is commonly late opening. They used to let us go on time and check in after 9 or after the round. Last week they did that too because the Golf Manager was there. Not so this week because the back-shop is not authorized. I had prepaid so it was just to sign a form. Not a huge deal, but it made a 15 minute difference which then put us behind some slower players after the turn.
